COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Jack IPA is our first ever Imperial IPA. It features a big malty middle to cloak the high alcohol and mouth puckering hop bitterness. Huge tangerine, grapefruit and juicy fruit aroma blossom over the herbal blue basil and malt earthiness of this aggressive beer. Best enjoyed in moderation.

Very well done. Menu was actually very vague and didnít list much about this beer, and it was on tap. Aroma of clean fresh hops. Medium-heavy bodied and very tasty and drinkable. Smooth smooth smooth. I actually didnít even know this was an imperial until I looked it up afterwards.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear gold. Thin, bubbly, white head. Nose is dank, and resinous. Lots of ripe orange. Peach juice. Some savoury in there. Taste has an initial hit of sweet, turning dank, oily bitter. Full bodied. Oily. Decent prickle of carbonation helps the drinkability. Sticky on the lips. Finishes long, resinous, chewy bitter, with that sweetness lingering until the end. Big and drinkable.

12oz bottle pours out a golden topped with a nice head. Nose is great hoppy pine citrus and some sweetness. Taste is more of the sweetness hoppy combo. Wow this is a tasty treat and helped my hop need.

Keg at PSBH, Manchester. Golden/amber shade. White head. Slightly buttery caramel malt. Waves of interesting hops: grassy, spicy and floral. Not really fruity, however. Very bitter. Itís big and the strength is easily felt, but it is well balanced. Not much wrong with it per se, I just prefer a softer and fruitier (I)IPA.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Clear golden body with a white, fading head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, orange, menthol, peach and pine resin. Flavour is very sweet - maple syrup and sugary tea - with a tangy, slightly peppery finish. Medium body with a very oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. This has a nice hoppy aroma and flavour from the dry-hopping but itís low on hop bitterness. It goes down easy for 9.5% ABV. For me, itís verging on Barley Wine territory.

Great DIPA , reall fresh hops on the nose, sherbet hits on the tongue, and the bitter finish slices through the 9.5abv. Great beer

Draft - FW has this down. Nice citrus, piney, and slightly floral hop aroma and taste. Super solid sweet malt back bone. So glad these are starting to come in 12oz bottles.

Jedno z lepszych IIPA ever drunk. Mocna goryczka, w zupełności nie zalegająca, szybko znika. Aromat sosnowy, cytrusowy. Te nuty pojawiają się w smaku, z małym dodatkiem karmelu, ale odpowiednio wyważonym. Świetne piwo. Przy takim woltażu zaskakująco lekkie i mega pijalne. Tzw. zdradliwy skurwiel.

A great beer. Terrific IPA aroma and fresh taste. High bitterness and alcohol but still very easy to drink. Expected more sweetness and was happy not to find it. One of the best IPAs easily.
