Brewmaster Matt Brynildson went to the mountain and returned with a vision for a different kind of Session IPA, one that would be brewed and dry hopped with a globetrotting selection of new hop varieties from Europe, New Zealand and North America. He foresaw a beer that would deliver massive hop aromas, a signature malt balance and an empty glass before you knew what hit you. And so the newest member of our Jack IPA family was born.

Can, at The Corner Foodery, Philadelphia. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has oranges, grapefruit and some pale malts. It’s rather low on bitterness in the flavor, with orange zest, grapefruit and a light malty backdrop. Medium to full body and a nice carbonation level. Quite bitter finish with some malts. A rather boring one, especially the initial flavor. 150622

Can in the Marketplace Ale House, Doncaster. Pours golden with a foamy white head. Big pine aroma to get the taste buds going. The taste is big with lots of resinous pine and a tropical feel. Ridiculously drinkable. I could tip this down my neck. As you’d expect from a lower ABV beer, it’s a little light in body, but very good all the same.

Bottle - big foamy head, pale straw color, big grapefruit hop aroma and flavor, very light malt backbone, mildly bitter (but with something just a little off) finish, not bad overall though ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Coloração dourada translúcida Espuma branca/alva de média duração e permanência. Aroma pouco proeminente citrico e floral.

Love this Beer. The hop profile is full of orange, grapefruit and melon flavor with very little harsh bitter or vegetable flavor. Easy drinking IPA session beer. Great gateway IPA for people who have not liked IPAs. Firestone Walker is great alpha craft brewery. I recommend buying Easy Jack in a can six pack. IPAs hold up better is can versus bottles.

Poured from a can dated May 01, 2015. Aroma is slightly sweet with some light cracker malt notes and fairly hop forward. Lots of citrus with some mango and pineapple. Some light pine and hope resin notes. Pours a clear gold color with a medium high, moderately thick, white head that slowly recedes into itself. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a nice cracker malt note and a slight biscuit character. Medium hop bitterness with a lot of hop flavors. Lots of orange with lighter mango and pineapple. Light pine resin. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a tasty and easy drinking session able IPA with some good hop notes and a light malt presence. Bitterness is not over the top, but it could use more hop flavor.

Pretty pour w/ a very good hop aroma the flavor is just slightly too weak for me hence the session i guess. Huge & delightful piney/floraly aroma. Transparent golden pour w/ a big white head that leaves lacing. There’s a hop presence throughout the taste as it becomes quite clean & crisp. It’s a bit thin on the palate but all & all a very nice beer for the style!

Almost clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, Good carbonation. Amazing nose of mango, fruit salad sweets and peach. Smooth but thin malts, mild sweetness. Hops follow the nose, sweetish fresh mango - the ones from Pakistan, fruit salad sweets, touches of peach, nectarines and mandarin. Light smooth finish. Very nicely done.
