Brewmaster Matt Brynildson went to the mountain and returned with a vision for a different kind of Session IPA, one that would be brewed and dry hopped with a globetrotting selection of new hop varieties from Europe, New Zealand and North America. He foresaw a beer that would deliver massive hop aromas, a signature malt balance and an empty glass before you knew what hit you. And so the newest member of our Jack IPA family was born.

A nice session IPA. Yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy. Taste is citrusy hops with a nice, but not strong, bitterness, almost no malt sweetness. Very dry and "crisp" and extremely refreshing. Dangerously easy to drink if there are 6 or 12 of them in your general vicinity :)

Appearance was clear gold with lasting creamy white 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrus, tropical, stone fruits with hints of honey and toffee. Taste was soft honey, pale malt mid sip with blast of grapefruit, melon, orange and soft herbs, pine beginning and end. Palate was soft smooth CO2 with light body, then lasting fruity hoppy finish. A wonderful session IPA.

Draft pour: Pours a crystal clear marigold color with small foamy white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is of lemon zest, tangerine, light bread/caramel notes & a big citrus hop presence. Light body with citrus fruit at the end with subtle notes of coriander & pepper. Very true to style for a session IPA but with a twist on the different/ more unique hops used . Easy drinking, refreshing summer beer without the strong ABV. (Bavarian Mandarina, Hallertau Melon, Blend of New Zealand, American Mosaic)

Had on tap at the Grill Next Door. $5.00 for the full pint. Pours an effervescent yellowish amber with which a whitish head 1½ fingers in length stood. An intriguingly nutty, minty session IPA. Tastes and smells of avocados, rice flour, celery salt, noble hops, and LME. Peanuts, kale, and spearmint experienced at swallow. Could have been better, certainly, but went decently with my burger. More or less what I was looking for at that moment in time.

Bottled from Trader Joe’s. Strong floral hoppy nose with a bit of sweetness. Color is a light/medium golden. Fairly dry and herbal hop flavors. Not super hoppy, but well balanced.

Damn I love these guys...but not in a weird way! Bright hop profile with grapefruit pith, orange peel, and lemon zest accompanied by some tropical fruit, floral notes, and spicy pepper. Light and refreshing. Incredible beer for the intense summer heat. Touch of honey and simple syrup for balance. Amazing at 4.5% ABV!
