COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewmaster Matt Brynildson went to the mountain and returned with a vision for a different kind of Session IPA, one that would be brewed and dry hopped with a globetrotting selection of new hop varieties from Europe, New Zealand and North America. He foresaw a beer that would deliver massive hop aromas, a signature malt balance and an empty glass before you knew what hit you. And so the newest member of our Jack IPA family was born.

Bottle. Clear gold with a foamy, white head that lasts and laces. Aromas of biscuit, light pine and spice with some citrus. Flavor is pine, spice, biscuit, and some malt. Light to medium bodied. Crisp with a slightly dry finish.

Can on 5/24/2015. A nice amount of pine on the nose, good amount of citrus. Not too light in body to have the "dirty hop water" problem many sesion IPAs have.

sebletitje (7492) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAY 31, 2015
Can courtesy Omgrich of and shared with the Shape crew.

zacgillbanks (3003) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2015
Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with a sweet citrus, orange and tropical fruit flavour, zesty pineapple and oak and vanilla on the finish. So much flavour for a relatively low ABV beer. Excellent!

GlasgowTAD (397) - Glasgow/Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - MAY 30, 2015
Pours clear golden with a frothy white head which lingers around. Aroma is grapefruit, orange marmalade and mango. Taste is bitter, citric, some pineapple, hint of grapefruit and a touch of malt sweetness. Aroma offers more than the taste but its good nonetheless.

Bottle. Mostly clear yellowish-gold pour with a small head that quickly fades to a ring. Leaves solid lacing. Aroma is fairly dank, especially for a session beer. Really nice. Pulpy grapefruit, dank wet grass, pine, peach, and light pineapple. Tastes great too. Light to moderately dank. Light sweet/bitter balance. Get more tropical fruit now that goes well with the wet grass, pine, and citrus. Medium to full body. Really great overall. I like it because it’s like a sipper session IPA. I’d be very happy just sipping on two of these over a couple hours on a random night.

jamestulloch (1930) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 29, 2015
Can from Drinkmonger. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, straw and peach. Flavour of orange, lemon and a light, hoppy finish. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Solid rather than spectacular.

allmyvinyl (5784) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 28, 2015
12 us fluid oz can from Little Leeds Beer House. Consumed on the train Leeds to Edinburgh. Hard to say what the colour is, due to lack of glassware. Looks clear pale gold. Aromas of resinous hops, pine, catty notes. Taste is bitter, some citrus at the back. A touch watery maybe. Bitter finish. Decent train beer.
