4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Firestone Walkerís - Easy Jack separates itself from the Sessionable IPA pack with a citrus hop blend and a balanced malty taste. For me it matches up with Stoneís Go To IPA - as a step above the Pales, but very accessible IPA.

the nose on this thing is superb. big citrus fruity aromas some grapefruit notes. soft grassy hop goodness. subtle malt character in the aroma as well. This beer is really bright super clarity. Good size bubbles that ring the snifter glass. a similiar fruit character plays in the flavor a bit more subtle but lingers throughout the beers flavor. the hop character is really well played for a session IPA. its a great lawnmower beer for sure. the mouthfeel is somewhat thin but i thing that adds to the crushability of this easy drinking 4.5% beer. share this with friends that tell you they do not like hoppy beers.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Draft pour: Pours a crystal clear marigold color with small foamy white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is of lemon zest, tangerine, light bread/caramel notes & a big citrus hop presence.
Light body with citrus fruit at the end with subtle notes of coriander & pepper. Very true to style for a session IPA but with a twist on the different/ more unique hops used . Easy drinking, refreshing summer beer without the strong ABV. (Bavarian Mandarina, Hallertau Melon, Blend of New Zealand, American Mosaic)

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Light bodied, looks like a pilsner but with a bit more golden/orange. Nice frothy head with good soapy bubbles. Really fruit forward hop aroma. Fuzzy navel, pine sap, blood orange, passion fruit. Flavor is mild bitterness that fades to a fruity finish on the back end. A really clean, sessionable ale with virtually no flaws. Never thought you could infuse so much flavor into what is essentially a light beer. High price tag is justified, especially bc Iím sure they are using a shit ton of oily hops in the dry hopping process to give the beer itís distinct flavor.

This is the best session IPA I have ever had. Lets just get down to it. Grapefruit, Tropical fruits dominate the aroma. You can smell it as your popping the top. Itís perfect. The taste is just nuts. So much grapefruit, so many tropical fruits. Itís just so damn good. I could drink like 40 of these.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This smells pretty darn good. Very fruity and citrusy with grapefruit sticking out. Pours a slightly hazy gold like most session IPAs. Taste is much more subdued hop-wise than taste, and this certainly isnt a palate wrecker, although there are decent hops to it flavor-wise . Lots of citrus rind like flavor and smell. Clean, crisp and very grapefruity. Granted, I havenít had this beer in years, but it reminds me of what I remember Pliny the Elder tasting like. Very fragrant, fresh and hoppy yet super easy to drink. Medium body and crisp carbonation. The go to session IPA, Iíd say.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle. Brilliant clear golden color, looking lively. Big hop aroma of citrus, pine, and herb with a touch of malt. Awesome flavor, perfectly balanced with a grassy, herbal, citrus punch. Smooth, crisp, and as drinkable as Bud Light without sucking as much as Bud Light does. Great beer for an outdoor summer brew day.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAY 30, 2014 Golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, tangerine, orange, and pine. Taste of citrus, grass, tropical fruits, orange, toast, and grapefruit in the finish. Nicely balanced, nice beer.
