COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hefeweizen is a traditional Bavarian wheat beer brewed using a classic German recipe. The malt bill is 60% wheat resulting in a light approachable beer with a hazy opalescent appearance and a soft gentle texture. A special Bavarian yeast strain was selected for this beer which imparts a beautifully fruity flavor and aroma with hints of tropical fruit, banana, light citrus and undertones of clove like spice. The hopping rate is very low allowing the wheat and malt character to shine through. A perfect example of a 100% natural and traditional wheat ale. A true session beer. Paired with Anything Seafood, very refreshing on hot day.

Great Hef. Easy drinking, refreshing and just the right amount of banana without going overboard. Pours golden/amber with a nice haze. Tastes and smells like a grainy hef ought to. Light on the palate without being watery. Fantastic!

Appearance was cloudy orangish gold with diminishing creamy off white 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are clove, banana, fruity estery yeasts with hints of lemon. Taste are lemon upfront then slight clove, banana, pale and wheat malts. fruity yeasts. Palate was crispy smooth creamy CO2 with light body, average length fruity soft wheaty hefe finish. Draught at the Yard House, Las Vegas, NV
Cloudy blond color. The aroma is quite spicy; the flavor too is spicy; it’s smooth, there is some wheat flavor, and ordinary bitterness.
I prefer to have some fruitiness in my Hefe, but this is not too bad.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a citrus aroma. A clean refreshing wheat beer that was thirst quenching. Slight zesty aftertaste but overall a great beer during hot temperatures.

Draft @ Yard House, Boston- Fenway. Served in pint. Labeled as Yard House Hefeweizen. I was happy when I found out Firestone Walker brewed this! Murky orange with a short-lived white head. Great color! The nose and flavor is everything I look for in a Hefeweizen. Banana and clove along with a dash of pepper/ spice. Sweet bread notes. The body is lighter side of medium with a slow/ soft carbonation. I can tell the used real Germany yeast strain, it makes the beer a true Hefeweizen. Don’t be fooled, this is ABOVE average. Damn close to the German big brothers.
