wow for a "coffee porter" i was left searching for the coffee!?! body was okay for the style and if your were to just judge the beer on the base style it was passable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2010 On tap at City Beer Store in SF in 2009, then again at the brewery in 2010. Am I the only one who has ticked this beer? This is a DONG - draft only, no growlers - the hardest kind of beer to tick.
Pours a dark brown color, nearly black, with a beige head that has average retention.
Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Coffee is fairly big and assertive on this one.
Flavor is lots of coffee, roasted malt, and bitter chocolate. Seemlessly blended, and the flavors of Walker’s Reserve, the base beer, are really evident.
Smooth palate with medium body for a porter. Carbonation is low to medium.
Extremely drinkable for a coffee porter. Why doesn’t this beer see more distribution? It’s good.
