Tasting at the brewery. Very typical IPA nose and flavor...good floral and hop notes on the taste. Solid.

Heavy on the citrus and grapefruit on both nose and palate. Grapefruit on the finish. Hops weren’t as forceful as they are in some of the monster IPAs, which is a bad thing or a good thing, depending on how overwhelmed you like your palate to be. Overall, a darn decent session beer. Bought on tap at Savemore Beverage in Halfmoon, NY

I love IPA’S, however, this was a bit weak in the aroma, flavor, palate area. It has some good qualities, but falls short.

Pours a medium pale gold, nose is weak on hop and mostly grain, taste is a little boring with too much residual sweetness.

Bottle->shaker: Pours a spare frothy off-white head that has some lacing with some mild carbonation onto a yellow/amber body that is clear with no particulates. Lightly hoppy aroma, some citrus taste, and a tart aftertaste with a smooth but astringent finish. A pretty decent IPA, doesn’t justify the price.

Draft. Dark copper pour with an off-white head. Big, fruity hop aroma. Fresh strawberries and citrus, mostly grapefruit. Very hop-forward flavor with a clean grapefruit taste. Bitter finish.

I was a little worried when Firestone took over SLO but the IPA has remained the same. A golden IPA with a great balance of floral and bitterness. Still one of my favorites.

Light amber colour with light frothy head. Aromatic with citrus hops and some hay. Nice hop presence throughout although the malts were thinner. Decent standard brewpub IPA.

Aurelius (3145) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 3, 2007
Lemony, zesty malt APA aroma. Yellow-gold, big beady head, nice bottle, good label. Medium-heavy hopping, citrusy. Well done American Golden Ale. Citrus gelatin flavors, finishes out with a pleasant bitterness. Fresh, sweetish, enjoyable. Mellow Mushroom, Auburn.

On tap at Toronado. Dark orange color, lots of fluffy lacing. Pleasant light citrus hop aroma, a little grass as well -- nice not to be overwhelmed. Taste of the same sweet citrus hops, a decent caramel malt backbone, overall a subdued enjoyable beer.
