One of my favorite IPAs. Very citrus aroma and taste. Good flavor and not to much bite. It could be a little more bitter so if your looking for a very hoppy and bitter IPA you won't get it here. It is a good tasting IPA that is easy to drink. Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught, as "Firestone Walker Taproom IPA" at the Paso Robles Taproom. Not the "retired" beer indicated above. Listed at 6.7% and 60 IBU. Very smooth and appealing pine aroma. Light yellow/copper color. Initial has an almost perfect balance / the hops intensify in mid palate and then an exquisite caramel malt sweetness emerges, bringing out some candy notes / finish has good, lengthy hops tracks. Thin body. Really aggressive hopping, and it works so well with this malt. The FW brews are so much better and fresher at the Taproom than in bottles.

I was a little worried when Firestone took over SLO but the IPA has remained the same. A golden IPA with a great balance of floral and bitterness. Still one of my favorites.

Draft. Dark copper pour with an off-white head. Big, fruity hop aroma. Fresh strawberries and citrus, mostly grapefruit. Very hop-forward flavor with a clean grapefruit taste. Bitter finish.

Solid IPA but not as hoppy as some of the other IPAs that I like. Easy to drink. Tastes of grapefruit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the Firestone Restaurant. Golden yellow color. Smells big pine, citrus, grapefruit. Great hopey, bitter taste. Sweet finish, balances very well. Extremely drinkable for such big flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2006 This one came to me in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel color with a very creamy medium sized yellowish head. The aroma is strong with grapefruity hops. There is a strong grapefruit flavor with light sweet malts underneath. The balance is not too bad but the hops really dominate. Still not as good as the Double Barrell.
