UPDATED: APR 14, 2013 Updated 4.14.2013 at Barrelworks. Was told this is "totally different" from previous batches. (New rate?) Pours a hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is funky with a cheese and pasture going on with a sour note. Taste is more funky cheese and barnyard, followed by a mild sour and then grain and a hard to pick up fruit bill. The sourness isn’t high on this one and the funk really makes up for it. Very much a different beer from what I remember.
Old: Stone Sour Fest 2012 - Draft. pours a medium golden. Spice and an odd floral aroma, almost spruce. Very little barrel in the taste with more random spice and floral notes. Very similar to Saison du Buf but in a more spice forward way which seems hard to do.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy gold with white head that quickly fades. Aroma is lemon, grapes, sour funk. Taste is moderately tart. Flavors of sour Brett funk, lemon, citrus, oak, grapes, hay and grass. Pretty well done sour saison.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Session 4. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Light tangy citrus in the nose, some faint funk, light hay, sweat. Lightly sweet, with nice juicy lemon, light tartness, melon, a little dough. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, with more citrus fruits, light tangy lemon and doughy wheat. Nice saison.

375 ml bottle to snifter (thanks arminjewell). Looks good; a transparent golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells tart, lemony, funky, and oaky. Tastes like it smells with a slightly acidic medium light-bodied mouthfeel. Good beer.

On tap @ Haymarket - Chicago. Pour is hazy golden with a minimal white head. Flavor and aroma of sour white grapes, white bread, and grassy hops.

Quite hazy, dull tan, no head. Has a bretty, barrelly aroma, with the light brett fruitiness, and an accent of yeasty mustiness. Tart up front, with again such must, lots of brett. Ok, good sweetness but the overall flavour development is somewhat lacking. So good beer but missing something to differentiate it.

Bottle - 375mL corked and caged courtesy of my friend Noel. Hazy gold with a short white head. Aroma is sour fruit, yogurt, oak and funky yeast. Taste is yogurt, sour fruit, peaches, apricot, oak, funky yeast and horse blanket. Body is medium with a moderate prickly carbonation. Ends with more funky yeast, sour fruit, yogurt, oak and horse blanket. Yummy!

Bottle at Wtf 2. Pours a thick white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, oak, funk, brett. Medium mouth, funky, brett, lacto, light oak dry finish, very nice.

Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color with ripe banana/straw colored edges and a two finger frothy white head that quickly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Decent retention with streaks of soapy lacing left behind.
Slightly earthy aroma with a nice balance of barnyard funk, musty bugs, sourdough bread, toasted oak and light fruit esters. Wild yeast dominates the nose with prominent barnyard funk. Subtle cheesiness, peppery spice, vanilla bean charred oak, hay and light fruit. Hints of apple and strawberry and cream but the lactic character gets stronger as it warms.
Fuller end of medium body with crisp acidity but not overwhelmingly sour. Decent amount of citric acid along with musty brett effervescence and lactic funk. Nice balance of acid and funk without overpowering the earthy farmhouse yeast and light fruit esters. Slight creamy texture with wild yeast, lemon spritz, hay and zesty citrus peel. Fruit isn’t as strong as in the nose but this beer remains tart, refreshing and very easy to drink. Not quite as complex as the aroma suggests but still pretty interesting .

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass golden, nice head. Sourish-moldy aroma. Starts mild, sourish, fruity like lemon, not too intense. Finish mild, less sourish, malty-grasy notes. Not bad.
