Hazy yellow orange in color... Aroma of citrus, spices, tartness... Flavor is moderately sour with nice citrus backbone, notes of spices, grains, wine oak on finish... Amazingly good, wish I had 5 more... One of my favorites from FW ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice Belgian light spice to the aroma. The flavor on this one is great. A bit of spice and hops throughout, this one was pretty tasty.

A juicy, delicious, complex, but incredibly drinkable beer. Peach and apricot character combine nicely with mild funk and grass, a little bit of oak, and some citrus zest. Somewhat dry.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2014 Tap at Sacramento Brewing Company. Hazy golden color with a foamy white head. Definite aromas of sour and fruit. Full bodied with mild carbonation. Flavor is mildly Bretty with light stone fruit. Really rather peachy. Finish has a metallic note, but mild funk is the key note. Laced a bit. Very refreshing. Compares more than favorably to Ommegang Bier de Mars. Love saisons.

On tap pours a hazy golden color with a thick white head that leaves good lacing. Smell of spices oak and slight pear. Taste is slightly funky and mildly sour with all the same things I mentioned in the smell. Mouthfeel is medium and relatively chewy with decent carbonation. Overall this was a great barrel aged sour/saison. I’m glad I got to try this rare gem.

Had on draft at Barrelworks. I got green apple, lemon rind, dusty, soft and fruity, amazing, tropical fruits.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2014 On draft at the Barrelworks – reviewed from notes (10 Nov 13). Aroma is surprisingly peach forward with some citrus and white grape must. Some BA saisons tend to be lemon forward but this has a nice tropical and stone fruit aroma to mix with the doughy, hay like yeast. There is a slight lactic quality as well. Pours pale hazy yellow with an insane huge cloud-like head. Took a few minutes to settle down before taking some sips. Taste is mellow lemon, grain, some must, white wine, peach, with light funk. Body is light with carbonation on the higher side. The aftertaste has some tannic quality. Overall a really nice wine/tropical saison with light funk and lighter sour quality. Impressive!
