COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oaktoberfest is a true German Marzen bier brewed with premium imported Pilsner and Vienna malts and is spiced with Bavarian hop from the mother land. Light Amber in color, soft malty profile, full bodied lager beer. Fermented with the famous Bavarian Augustiner Lager yeast from Munich. We utilized German Hallertauer Traditions for both bittering and aroma additions adding a rich, noble hop presence to this beer.

On tap at Yard House. Clear golden with white head. Aroma is caramel and bread. Taste is sweet, followed by mild bitterness. Body is light, good carbo. Don’t care for the style.

Big soapy head. Yeast, biscuit, malt, shortbread tastes then finishes with hop bitterness. Really good drinking Fall beer. 12oz bottle.

Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a huge bubbly off white head that persists forever. A bit of sulfur dripped off this at first pour, but slowly dissipated as I waited for the head to recede. Earthy mineral water, rich bready pilsner malt and a hint of spicy floral hop. The flavor is clean rich bready light caramel malts with barely a touch of spice. Medium body moderate to high level of carbonation. Tastes better than it smells, I could drink these but pales in comparison to some of the imports.

Bottle from July. Pours medium orange, very clear, thick off-white head. Clean lager nose. Kiss of noble hops sneaks through on taste. Full-bodied and smooth. Enjoyable everyday lager.
