COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

Bomber. Fantastic. Simply fantastic. I would drink this all summer if I could. Brilliant representation of a classic full bodied barnyard driven saison. DANK.

Bottle thanks to Ontape ! Pours a hazy yellow golden color with three fingers of fizzy white foam. Nose is a mix of floral honey, citrus, clay, grass and some fruity straw. Palate follows the nose with a lot of sweet fruit, a touch heavy on the honeyed roundness midpalate, bright grassy citrus pith lingers with peppery yeast.

Sample from bomber, thanks brenn79. Aroma is earthy, peppery, spicy. Pours hazy golden with a large white soapy head with excellent retention. Taste is the same as the aroma. Highly carbonated, but not the extreme champagne explosion found in a lot of these beers. Good Saison.

Bevo Liberty Station bottle. This is really a true-to-form saison with just a little hop influence to Americanize it. You could easily drink the entire 22oz quickly. Now thatís good saison.

Bottle. Gold pour, light haze, big white head. Some retention/lace. Aroma of estery yeast, grassy/citrus hop, lemongrass, grain. Taste is lightly bitter, grassy, citrus, ester, grain. Palate is soft, slick, light bitter finish.

Bomber bottled 06/20/14. Pours hazy but ultra-pale yellow, almost clear, with a very large and dense off-white head. Nose is heavy saison yeast, peppery with strong floral character, seemingly sweet and rustic, spicy. Taste brings out the lemon and lemon grass but those are buried under heavy spice, heavy pepper, wheat, heavy tangy berry - gooseberry, yes, but also kiwi and sea buckthorn, and perhaps lingon. Scratchy and spicy finish, dries out with a clean white wine finish, very winy, a little bit numbing but this time toward the front of the tongue. Very tangy/tart with light-medium bitterness. Fullish body and a lot to take in, probably too much for any measure of drinkability.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear light yellow with medium white head. Floral aroma, somewhat skunky, cheesy, hoppy, yeasty, winy, sweet, lemon. Complex flavor, wheat, yeasty, a bit spicy, light hoppy, floral, winy, well balanced. Lively carbonation. Light to medium body. sweet-bitter aftertaste.

A frothy 1.5" white head slowly dissipates leaving loosely scattered dots of lace all around over a chartreuse body with light haze

Big notes of white wine with underlying funky earth, light floral characteristics, peppery sweetness, rounding melon notes which build with warmth, very clean and refined, a variety of odd accents come to mind at cooler temps transforming through mustard, cedar, and fingernail polish, all very subtle, on a tight, silky medium body with controlled, active, round carbonation leading to a white pepper laced white wine finish with accentuated rounding honeydew reaching out for several seconds, a light tacky-sweet banana residual builds

One of the cleanest saisons Iíve had, complex and enjoyable, with occasional off notes, would have loved to crack this open fresh, there seems to be an obvious sector for fresh juicy hops at the fore front which Iím missing, best at this age well into the fifties

22oz capped bomber bottled 06/19/14 14:40 served at 45į and warming into Orrefors Beer Taster

A - a nice bright shiny yellow pour with nice fluffy tall white head. S - the nose is a plain jane america saison. Read that as overly Belgian. Sweet tarts and bananas abound. Some white grape juice and yeast. M - interesting. Some dry bitter saisoniness with sweet grapy tone. Medium body with a solid palate. Dry bitter end. T - a hodgepodge of Flavors. Grapes, white wine (Viognier and Sauvignon notes) and Belgian yeasts. Grassy and yeasty end. Lemon grass and some white grape juice. O - drinkable but messy and too big for its britches

Great big bright white head of varying sized bubbles. Reduces rather quickly to a bit of messy foam. Lots of lemon grass, white pepper, mint, a hunt of skunk initially and dry, dusty malts in the aroma. Color is a clear pale gold. Looks like a much lower caste ale then something from Firestone Walker. Light and refreshing flavor. More lemon and mint along with some sweet tarts and cereal grains. Body is quite thin and the flavor seems sweeter than it is. Clean finish. A pretty good brew and rather unexpected.
