3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from The Bier Stein, Eugene. Pours a light, fluffy, straw color, slightly cloudy, with lots of white head. Aroma slightly peppery, with sharp citrus note underlying, very nice. Stringent yeast character, too. Body lively, with a citric sweetness that leaves a slippery feeling behind. I tend to prefer my saisons a bit drier than this, but still a lovely beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a light hazy golden with a finger of head. Nose is spicy Belgian yeast, lemon, grass. Taste is lots of lemon, spicy yeast, a bit grassy, peppery, a bit bready, dry and a bit bitter on the finish. It's alright, lacking a bit in complexity. Could definitely be better, but not bad.
