Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

Hazy yellow color on the pour. White head that dissipated very quickly. Aroma isn’t the best; banana, touch of clove, and unfortunately, some kind of medicinal, almost vegetable smell. Taste is much better. No veggies, but a light pepper flavor, some citrus, clove. Average body that doesn’t really pop. Overall I’m a little let down by this beer, but it’s not too bad. Would probably pass on purchasing again, even at the $6.19 price I got the bomber for.

Bottle in LA. Hazy straw with creamy white head that fades. Fruity aroma - hops and saison yeast too. High carbonation, crisp dry finish. (much like my own saison sauvin) Great hoppy saison.

This is probably the most white wine tasting Saison I’ve had. Really dry and crisp. Tons of big spice, pepper, lemon and a grassy banana on the aroma. Theres something in the aroma a can’t put my finger on. Definitely can tell it’s dry hopped. Theres a big initial bitterness followed by a huge white wine character. Spicy and dry. Theres a slight tartness as well. Overall, this is a really awesome saison which stays on the hoppier side of the fence but has a big white wine character. One of the better Saisons I’ve had. Theres a lot to keep it interesting and delicious. Cheers!

Tap at City Tap House DC. Pours clear golden some head and lots of lacing. Nose is quiet, some dough. Flavours are light fruit, yeast and some light lemon. Tastes were light bitter light sweet and hint of tart. Medium body light carbonation.

Strong floral and spicy aroma, pours a slightly hazy light straw with a huge white head. Lots of earthy notes, with a touch of grape notes. Light in body, with a nice effervescence to lift flavors off of the palate. This is a very good Saison, and I’ll be trying to get more of this.

Spicy esters on the nose, bright citrus character from the dry hopping. Taste is similar, nice and citrusy. Pale yellow, light head. Nice.

Pale yellow pour ,little to no head., the dry hoping adds a lot to the standard saison.

Keg at Brewdog Camden. Pale yellow, still, clear, small foamy white head. Aroma is pungent fruits on the turn, yeasty, passionfruit, background spice. Body is medium, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is bready, caramel, spice, some light citrus. Dry, musty, yeasty finish with some booze showing up. Overall, it’s quite nice but I was hoping for something more interesting.
