COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

pours light gold with a white head. Hoppy aroma with some fruits, and flavors is lemony, sweet, with a bitter finish. Tasty, but not great.

Lightly hazed, straw to light golden color. Nucleated glass, so a rather larger flow of bigger bubbles maintaining a fluffy white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and spices. Hints of pale to lightly toasted malt. Still the main scents are mango and white pepper. Sweet flavors. More a Belgian strong than a saison, but I do like it. Candi, mango, peaches, cream, clover honey. Too much like an unoaked white wine. Tasty and sweet without a lot of depth. I know a few women like that. 4/14

Bottle poured slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma super floral grassy large amounts of clove almost medicinal. Taste was lemon, clove, pepper, slight tart astringent. Nice effervescence very dry and astringent for my liking.

Bomber. Pour is hazy white golden. A big white fluffy head makes a lot of noise. Brett is tasted early along with dry bitter citrus. Yeast and spices are nice. Lemon, too. Hops are generally American but perhaps a little European, too. This is nice.

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is really fresh and fruity, floral and citrusy. Taste is also fresh, citrusy floral with some rustic farmhouse notes. Body is light and effervescent. Really fresh and easy drinking.

Bottle to snifter, pours a vibrant gold and topped with a thin white head. Aroma is mild, but at the same time aromatic. Light esters and farmhouse yeast, dandelions. Flavors are typical to style, the fruity yeast is a big player. Moderate floral and spicy notes, a little bit of vino. There is nothing wrong with this, but I found it to be a bit dull… possibly because of really high expectation after having Sour Opal a couple months ago. Will revisit soon.

Leighton (17206) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2016
Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 3. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Moderate Belgian yeast in the nose, some wheat bread, lemon zest. Light sweet flavour with touches of pissy hops, lemon, dry pale wheat, light bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Great balance in the finish, with light sweetness, further saison yeast expression, lemon, hay. Really good stuff. So drinkable.

Light peppery taste. Pours a murky light color typical of a saison. Refreshing citrusy flavor. Nice sharp aftertaste.
