Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

Poured from 12 oz bottle, courtesy of SamGamgee. Light golden - yellow with a nice sized white head. Nose is somewhat complex; lots of stuff going on there, lemon, white wine, pepper, mixed in with that Belgian earthiness. Taste is spicy and bitter, a nice blend with a kind of abrupt finish. Overall a great interpretation of this style.

Ultra clear yellow with a white head. A bit of a spicy aroma with earthy rustic notes, malt, and lemon. Thin to medium body. Flavor is Lemon focused with medium earthy notes, yeast spice, and a hint of candied fruit. Pretty solid saison.

A little sour, but I may have poured some of the sediment in. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear yellow, nice white head. As far as saisons go, not my fav’. The yeast is a bit too present, even for this style. More on the golden belgian ale side even though the border is object able.

Cloudy healthy brown pour with thin haze of white on top. Strong lemon lime rind aroma, light but present Belgian yeast with notes of clove, cracked pepper. Average carbonation perhaps lovely for the style, mouthfeel is slightly watery, finish is quite clean. Strong lemon lime zest in flavor too, Belgian yeast mixes nicely with some subtle soap and florals, pepper and clove, Orange is distinctly evident as well. Unique blend of robust saison and crisp citrusy west coast pale ale. Well executed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Clear yellow golden color with white head. Malty, hoppy and yeasty aroma, citrusy fruity, grassy, funky, spicy. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium almost oily body with soft carbonation.

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bomber with thin white head that leaves light lace. Aroma of big farmhouse yeasty esters with a hint of floral hops. Taste is hoppier, fruity notes, but still big saison esters. Bubbly soft carbonation, easy drinker.

Kind of a lighter, sweeter, saison, with lots of wheat/hefe elements. Some apricot and some lemon -- but a lot of dry grain on the finish.

22 oz bottle The ale poured a clear light gold color with a frothy white head with lacing. The aroma of sweet grass floral hops and spices greet you. The taste has mild , grapefruit, and spicy notes. This is not one of my favorite ales from FW. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation.. The finish has grassy notes and floral aftertaste which was not that appealing. The Belgian yeast may be where I part ways with this ale.
