Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

Poured from 12 oz bottle, courtesy of SamGamgee. Light golden - yellow with a nice sized white head. Nose is somewhat complex; lots of stuff going on there, lemon, white wine, pepper, mixed in with that Belgian earthiness. Taste is spicy and bitter, a nice blend with a kind of abrupt finish. Overall a great interpretation of this style.

Bottle kindly shared by Werckmeister. Aroma lemony, citrusy, spicy, peppery. Lightly hazy yellow colour. Spicy in taste, lemony, lime, zesty, slightly sour. Also leathery barnyard notes developing towards the finish. Quite typical saison yet a more spicy/lemony twist. Very good. Easily drinkable.

22 oz bottle. Clear orange yellow with white suds. Nose is yeast, lemon, grass and honey. Medium body with a tingle. Taste is grain, citrus pith, grass and mild toffee. The dry hopping only appears in the last pour.

Tap at Bentleys. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a light white head. Aroma is cold. I'll come back. Flavor is zesty, spicy lemon, citrus, pepper and funk. Finishes slight. Aroma is now a light sweet funk with zesty notes. Easy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

650ml bottle from Whole Foods - Tribeca, New York. Bottled 11/14/14. Thanks Jesse!

Pale and clear yellow colour with a quickly vanishing small white head. Earthy, yeasty, citrus, lot of spices. Not so refreshing but decent still.

Bottle. Light hazy neon yellow, white lace. Fine citrus nose. Sptritzy lemony, dry medium light body. Fresh, a little bit too perfumed.

Bomber. Light yellow color, big (though wispy) head. High carbonation. The spiciness of the yeast combine with the hops to really bite your tongue. Almost winey taste. Not much malt or grain. Drier than a camel’s bunghole.

cloves and pepper in the nose with a side of yeasty funk. Billowing head on a very clear pale pour. Lemony taste, thickens as it goes, and gets drier. My initial taste was ’meh’ then ’oh yeah’. Nice fruitiness at the end too, mostly ripe banana. Good. Very well balanced and put together.
