4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle, courtesy of SamGamgee. Light golden - yellow with a nice sized white head. Nose is somewhat complex; lots of stuff going on there, lemon, white wine, pepper, mixed in with that Belgian earthiness. Taste is spicy and bitter, a nice blend with a kind of abrupt finish. Overall a great interpretation of this style.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Floral and aromatic with wheat and pale husk notes. Some mild spice and a touch of citrus. Light and lively with a mostly clean finish. Does however seem to be a bit muddled with is no surprise considering the source. That said, its highlights far outweighs that and it would be something I would try again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap, poured into a wide flute. The aroma is floral with notes of lemon, muffin, lime soda, clove, and pepper. The beer is clear and brilliant with a pale gold hue and white, light foam head that has a light retention and no lace. The taste is a medium high bitter and medium light sweet with a light sour. The thin texture is fuzzy with a medium light body and flavors of lemon with a coriander zest, some floral and herbaceous notes, a pepper zest, and some toast. The finish is pepper and lime with bread crust. It has a near burnt quality that leads to an aftertaste that’s cloying and lightly astringent with flavors of wood, spicy pepper (clove late), and muffin.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy golden colour, firm white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, malts, saison and Tripel yeast. Light sweet malty flavour, bit bitter, yeast. Quite dry. Finish yeast, malts, banana, cloves. Bit in between a tripel and a saison. Nice and refreshing, bit alcoholic for the style though.

Bottle at 2nd ElManana’s 9050 Tasting. Thanks to BBQSteve for the bottle. Pours golden with a white head that fades quite quickly. Aroma has white wine, brett, Taste is quite peppery, yeast, little bitterness (might be the age the bottle has, 9 months).

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a large bright white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma of citrus (lemon, orange, and grapefruit), biscuit, sour candy, wheat, toast. Taste is like the aroma but more malt forward. Definitely getting a solid caramel and Belgian yeast flavor that wasn’t as big in the aroma. Light bodied, fluffy texture, low to average carbonation, long finish of malts and citrus. Very easy drinker.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle... Pours hazy and light yellow with a small, fizzy, white head. This has an herbal, spicy nose, featuring spice-rack spices and herbs, and pleasant phenols - freesia, English lavender and clove. Medium to full-bodied with vibrant carbonation. The flavor is balanced and spicy, with floral hops and pale malts. Crisp, spicy finish. Not big on spicy, phenolic saisons, but this one is so well-done. Crazy clean. I bet this is Dany Pignon approved. Big thanks goes out to richiesd for shipping this quality bottle of beer across the country!
