Our interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing.

Poured from 12 oz bottle, courtesy of SamGamgee. Light golden - yellow with a nice sized white head. Nose is somewhat complex; lots of stuff going on there, lemon, white wine, pepper, mixed in with that Belgian earthiness. Taste is spicy and bitter, a nice blend with a kind of abrupt finish. Overall a great interpretation of this style.

Rattle n Hum, NYC tap: Pours pale yellow with white head. Aroma is winy, a bit funky, peppery, and lemony. Taste is much the same. A bit dry in the end. Slight hops and sourness going on in there as well. Drank too quickly, but was enjoyable.

Bomber. Pours piss yellow, white head, no lacing. Aroma is saison yeast, as typical. Flavor is the same, and with pepper, grass, and certainly a heavy white wine finish. Dry, biting finish. If you’re preparing for a wine, this won’t be a revelation-- otherwise, it might be a shock. Pretty well carbonated. Drinkable? Mostly... I quite enjoy this saison, though it may not be the most complex example of the genre.

22oz bottle pours clear pale straw gold with big 3 finger head. Nose and palate are a mix of light peppery yeast, soft grain spice, golden apple, and some lemony citrus. Finish is dry with some grassy lemon and has spice yellow apple grain and balanced subtle saison yeast. Quite nice.

Pours slightly cloudy straw golden with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Aroma of pit fruit, mild barnyard, yeast, pepper. Flavors of tropical fruit, grassy, pepper, spices, coriander, lemon with a dry finish
I really enjoyed this beer.

3/14/15 from bomber dated 11/14/14. Nice light color. Fruity white wine smell. Lots of carbonation not much hops smell or flavor. Slight bitter aftertaste. Very nice change from IPA and DIPAs I usually drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

on tap at Dog & Bull - a hoppy saison that seems almost like an IPA. Not bad but not as saisony as expected.

Bottle from Marrow Brothers. Definite notes of spice, plum, berry, grain and wheat. Finish was peppery, citrus and fresh.

The carbonation is a bit too much. Other than that, typical saison that just isn’t as good as any of their Belgian counterparts.
