Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with tall, long-lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and some tropical fruit. Body is medium and crisp. Herbal hops, pale malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Very good overall.

Clean floral hop aroma, pours a clear light amber with a full white head. Earthy hop notes pair up with bready malt flavors and a moderate body to produce a good starting flavor. There is then a slight sweetness and some tropical fruit notes that come through from the hops. A nice session pale, with a little less hop bitterness then I usually prefer.

Keg at The Port Street Beer House, Manchester. A pale golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, some mango, pine, slight grass and floral hops. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, some mango, pine, resin, slight grass, subtle grain, floral hops and some caramel in the close. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A crisp, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Pleasant citrus, pine and floral hop characteristics in this beer, plus it’s so crisp and refreshing. A really well made APA.
