Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Bottle on 5/29/2015. Confused how I haven’t had this yet. Pretty nice APA, nicely balanecd. Decent amount of bitterness. Don’t know if I’d rather stick with this over Easy Jack but willing to find out.

Lively, clear golden beer with a white bubbly head. Strong, floral citrus aroma. Flavour is surprisingly mellow. Lemony hop, somewhat dry, a bit of a resinous hint to it and this gives it a slightly tangy aftertaste which lingers for a fair while.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear gold. Thick, bubbly, lasting, white head. Lovely, peach and orange hop to this. A little bit grassy. Some flora. Some pine needle. Taste is moderately bitter, with a light, grainy sweetness. Crisp, clean palate, that has a light dryness. Finishes long, light bitter. Hugely quaffable.
