COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

This is truly my favorite drinking beer of all time. Amazing tea grapefruit and floral nose with a bitterness that never burns or bites. Taste is green tea, rose petals and grapefruit. Palate is sharp carbonation that hits bitter for just a moment then leaves a taste of tea on my tongue. Absolutely delicious. Straight from the bottle is my favorite.

On tap at My Wine Cellar. Pours light golden with a thick, foamy head. Aroma of citrusy hops (orange, tangerine), heavy wet alfalfa, some pine, and a light, grassy wheat tone. Crisp, refreshing taste of pine resin, juicy orange, and moderate woody bitterness. A lovely, sessionable pale.

Very good pale. Rein pine and grapefruit aroma, big white head, nice good size bubbles and carbonation, good crisp and clean dry finish.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with quickly settling white head. Aroma is piney, resinous hops, with a malty background, nutty, biscuit. Flavor is hoppy, resinous, citrus, with a nutty, cracker malt finish. Much better than I recall. Soft carbonation, medium-light body. Tasty, clean and drinkable.

What a great California Pale Ale.... Citrus, floral, hoppy aroma, lovely medium body with a superb dry finish. From sniff to swallow, nothing bad to say about this beer. Pure pleasure...

This has a nice citrus aroma to it. The flavor is mild, but builds into a distinct citrus grapefruit flavor coupled with a mild, pleasant bitterness. The body is a good medium and the finish is dry. Nothing in particular sticks out about this beer, the taste is somewhat simple, but they did it right.

12 oz. bottle. Appearance: small white head that diminishes almost instantly, good lacing, clear golden-yellow color. Aroma: floral, resin, grass, faint malty bread smell. Palate: light body, thin and dry texture almost wine-like, average carbonation, light bitter finish that is rather short lived given the style. Taste: fruity sweetness at the front, followed by orange rind bitterness on the back end. Overall, very refreshing beer and different; the feel is really nice.

Clear golden with an off-white head. Good lacing. Aroma of grain, grass, citrus, and flowers. The taste is grainy malts with mild bitterness and sweetness. Medium bodied and a little dry.

(Backlog) 12 oz bottle. Clear look, nice off white head, and deep golden in color. The smell is hops, orange citrus fruits, pine, zest, and more fruit. The taste is pleasant light bitter bite, fruits, hops, pine, and good.
