Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Bottled on 03.11.14. Poured into a tumbler on 05.13.14. A: See through yellow with a light head, which recedes quickly. S: Flower. Some pine and grapefruit. T: Pine, grapefruit dominate. Honey, flower are subtle. M: Crisp. Has perfect carbonation. O: This was somewhat hop forward. It was nicely balanced, but I guess that I expected that the hops would be stronger.

Guldig klar med litet vit skum. Mycket citrus humle i både doft och smak. Väldigt fyllig trots låg% med bra beska

Cloudy golden colour with a small white head. The aroma is sweet fruitiness, citric notes and toffee accomplished with mild bitterness and maltiness. The flavour is fruity hops, mild bitterness, sweetness and malt. Easy but super drinkable.

Appearance: pours with a large beige head that is dense, the beer is a very clear average golden color Aroma: grass, pine, lime, hints of malt grain, bread, smells great, complex Taste: lightly toasted malt grain, bitter throughout, hints of lime here too, Palate: light mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste, lively carbonation Overall: this is an amazing beer, the aromas are strong and complex, the taste is very bitter yet also has hop flavors besides just the bitterness, easily drinkable, enjoyed 3 weeks after bottling ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 355ml. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head that disappears quickly. Smelly quite fruity and sweet. Floral hop aroma and a long bitter aftertaste. Medium body and low carbonation. Not my favorite style of beer, but this is nice nevertheless.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Nose brings out pleasant floral hops, some tropical fruits, and some earthy herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp crackery malt, floral hops, a light tropical fruitiness and some herbal notes. Very fresh and crisp body. A pleasant pale ale that is quite drinkable.

I poured this ale into my trusty Samuel Adams glass. The pour produced a hazy, pale yellow body topped by a big, fluffy head of white foam, which lingered for quite a while. The aroma was floral, with some generous hopping (or at least I could assume so, since this is what I smelled through my cold.) Some slight sweetness, balanced by the bitterness of the hops, which quickly faded to a minimal aftertaste. This ale is medium bodied and had a smooth texture, making it quite drinkable.

On draft at dominion beer and wine it is a clear golden color with a big frothy white head. The aroma is floral and the taste is a strong bitter white grapefruit taste that finishes bittet
