3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A nice pale ale with a great hop medley. I usually really love dry hopped ales, but this one was a bit too subtle for me. Very floral, crisp beer with a lot of character, but not as bitter as I’d like. Pours a gorgeous yellow orange with golden edges. A winner but not a favorite.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured two fingers of head on a medium straw colored body.
The aroma is a wonderful mix of pine, whole cone hops and honey.
The taste starts with mild sweetness and then goes to pine bitterness. The transition is abrupt.
The texture is soft with some fizz.
An enjoyable and drinkable ale at a low ABV.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is floral and citrusy. Pours a light color amber with a white head. A good bit of carbonation adds to the bitterness. Taste is citrusy, somewhat piney. Overall the bitterness and hop aromas stand out the most; seems slightly unbalanced.

12 oz. from Chuck’s. I thought this was going to be meh, but it’s fantastic. Leave it to Firestone to turn out excellent well-crafted session beers. Had no idea I was so late to the party.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden pure ale. White head. Ring. Fruity and light grain aroma like a wit. Light fruity taste. A very light fruity beer. Light in body full in flavor but light in character. Good in a light way, if you’re in the mood for that.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Orangish golden. Persistent uniform white head. Soft, hopcentric aromas of gummy candy, lemon, tangerine, mango, and flowers. Moderately spicy, as well. Resin, chalk, and grapefruit accents. Fleeting whisper of cookie malt and grain husks. Fuzzy carbonation. Appetizing Cascade-esque spiciness partly succumbs to a brutishly chalky and resinous encroachment, upfront. Hint of flowers and tangerine somewhat salvage drinkability as they elegantly lurk beneath and curtail the resins. Ample crispness from the malt provides some structure as well as a dry edginess which displaces some of the resins and augments drinkability. Attractive degree of succulence to the hops, though the gradually devolving malt spoils much of that as it relinquishes its sound firmness and takes on a burnt wood and stale popcorn characteristic, and even some wet paper flaccidness. Rich toffee nuttiness vaguely remains. Finishes dry, spicily hoppy, and leanly malty with cookie and frosted vanilla cake accents adorned with a juicy assortment of peach and tangerine. This is quite the mixed bag. I appreciate the dryness, and although it falls on the resinous side of the spectrum, the hops do have some enjoyable aspects. But ultimately the malt is annoyingly husky, and the filtration has stripped much of its soul. Bottle-conditioning would also make a world of difference. A respectable hybrid.

Pours a light golden rusty orange yellow pour with a small . Nose is hoppy and deep citrus with a predominance of grapefruit. Taste is sweet citrus with intense flavoring, light on the palate and drinks rather easily. Light lacing, with soft carbonation and a light texture. Drinks like a session beer, finishes with same sweet citrus taste. Enjoyable APA. Quaff Score 8 / 10

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
It’s odd, but this beer immediately struck me as being too pale for a pale ale of any sort. It’s somewhere between straw and gold; I originally thought it was a blond ale. Aroma is of very floral honey and some grass. Flavor is the same with greater intensity and a dash of additional hop bitterness. It reminds me of a honey ale I brewed with especially flowery Zambezi honey and not much in the way of hops. In the end, it really is quite mild; it also probably shouldn’t be labeled as a "Pale Ale" of any sort without a disclaimer. I was disappointed :(
