COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of Californiaóthe 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where weíre from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

12oz bottle -

I have to admit that this stape in my fridge during the warmer months. Why itís not been rated til now is odd. Itís just a light, semi-hoppy, full of flavor, easy quaffing beer thatís always a nice price $7-8 a sixer.

Aroma is really floral. Itís easy to forget about the hops and think this thing was infused with some herbs, petals or fruit, because it has such a unique aroma for a pale ale. Flavor had some medium sweetness to it, keeping things very well balanced with the woody hops. Thereís a zing of fresh hop right at the end of the swallow thatís easy to notice and quite welcome. Phenomenal beer for the Summer time weather.

On tap. A clear gold color with a white head that stays around and a bit of lacing. Pleasant hoppy aroma with some lemon zest. The flavor is mostly hops with a bit of the lemon and a long aftertaste.

Cask at iTap Soulard served in a pint glass. Pours a somewhat cloudy gold with a finger of uneven eggshell head and lace. Aroma of fresh herbal hops, citrus, sweet malts, and a bit of pine. Flavor of herbal hops, sweet and pale malts, straw, pine, grains, and crackers. Light body with soft carbonation and a dry, quick mouthfeel. Finishes fast and dry for sure. Nice overall.

Bottled 355ml. It pours a clear golden beer with a creamy off white head. Deeply inviting hop accented nose with grapefruit, sweat, vanilla, mango, devonshire cream, caramel, quince, a lot of pine accompanied by some earthy components showing up. Medium bodied. Good head retention. Flawless malt back. Leafy. Beautiful lacework. Lovely bitterness. Perfectly balanced. I love the hop profile. Dry bitter finish which is reminiscent of quince, pine, some earthy hops and whipped cream. Excellent.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Poured crystal clear and a beautiful pale golden hue. Had a great head with lots of stability. Aroma - A very nice piny hop aroma. Had a very crisp and clean taste with a balanced flavor of hops and malt. Had a medium body with average carbonation. Finished strong and short.
