3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A: Light golden-copper with a moderate off-white head. Quickly recedes but leaves behind some lacing.
S: Citric hops dominate the aroma profile. Pleasant and subdued.
T: More of the same... but amped up... Very nice, slightly bitter APA... good malt base adding some caramel and bread complexity.
M: Light-medium body. Resinous. Good carbonation.
O: Greatly enjoyed this brew... not quite like the Pale Ale’s out here on the east coast. Refreshing and enjoyable.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pale 31 is very floral, with citrus notes. It is clear and golden in color. When I poured it, it had a minimal head, with white foam. Tastes great with a medium sweetness, and a thin, light body. Carbonation was lively, and finishes a little bitter, with a long finish. Definitely a nice, easy drinker.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel malts and hops. Taste is initially sweet and malty quickly followed by a spicy hop bite. Northwest hops from the aroma and taste. The palate ends very crisp and clean which is one thing to note about this beer.

12oz bottle -
I have to admit that this stape in my fridge during the warmer months. Why it’s not been rated til now is odd. It’s just a light, semi-hoppy, full of flavor, easy quaffing beer that’s always a nice price $7-8 a sixer.
Aroma is really floral. It’s easy to forget about the hops and think this thing was infused with some herbs, petals or fruit, because it has such a unique aroma for a pale ale. Flavor had some medium sweetness to it, keeping things very well balanced with the woody hops. There’s a zing of fresh hop right at the end of the swallow that’s easy to notice and quite welcome. Phenomenal beer for the Summer time weather.
