COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Pours golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, nice and fresh, maybe a bit of stone fruit, with some light malt. Taste is orange (almost Jell-O ish), some grapefruit, biscuit, and light bitterness. Pretty light body, nice carbonation. Not a lot of complexity here, but a straight forward, clean, citrusy APA. Could be a nice go-to.

4 oz pour on draft at B Side. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of floral, citrus fruit and peel. Tastes of floral, citrus, light caramel, stone fruit. Medium body with a dry finish. Nicely balanced, could see myself throwing back a few of these.

Pale golden color out of the bottle with very little of a white head. Bright citrus hop nose. Very flavorful pale ale with a strong bready backbone and lots of grapefruit rind, stone fruit and some grassy bitterness. Nice PNW pale ale.

Bottle at home I grabbed a six pack for super bowl tomorrow since I won’t have time to go to beer store and this was only rates available at grocery. pours light orange with fluffy head. nose is decent citrus and bread. Tastes of grapefruit, peach, biscuits, and some light pine. low carbonaton that leaves slightly flater palate. dry aftertaste. fine but nothing exciting
