COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

A perfect pale ale. The delicate balance of maltiness and hoppiness is easy to appreciate for even the novice drinker.

Delicious beer, amazing aroma even from a bottle (I am playing ping pong, no glasses). Anyway, very impressed at the sharp hoppy piney nose and the bitterness that lasts just long enough.

12 ounce bottle from Costco sampler, pour is golden with thin lasting head, lots of bubbles. Average taste w very little bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep golden color with a thin, quickly dissolving head. A light hoppy crispness on the nose leads to a dry mouthfeel and a light body. The finish is actually reminiscent of some big brewer premium lagers. Nice and refreshing summertime option. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Nice mellow hop resin. Little pine and floral Appearance: dark for a pale, but only a little. Golden in color Taste:citrus presence with a light bitter finish. On the dry side but not overtly and well within style. Very good Palate: very nice mouthfeel and presence. Hops add character without over loading it. Perhaps a little heavy for a summer session, but very quaffable. Overall: there are few beers I buy repeatedly these days as there is just so many new styles and offerings to try. This has become a solid go to for me when I just want a beer I can drink and enjoy. Never disappointed and on sale for less the $8. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lots of grassy citrus on the nose. Light yellow with plenty of effervescence. Taste of bitter fruit and a hint of Ritz Cracker malt. Light crispy body with a nice hop zing. Great light-side APA.

How do you NOT like this beer? Probably the perfect segue way between a lager and IPA, so a good transition beer for people new to hops. Also, I find it a good beer when there are just too many odd choices on the tap list and you need something reliably good and not watery.

So clean, crisp, and refreshing. Strong citrus hop flavor with a pleasant aroma. My favorite pale ale!

Pours a straw/holden color, lots of carbonation, head dissipates quickly. The beer is a lot lighter than I was expecting. It’s a very approachable, drinkable session beer for sure. Great flavor, crisp, clean. Good stuff.

Bottle from Hazel’s beverage world. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, grapefruit, floral hops, grass and a bit of pine. Nice crispy, yet well-balanced body with lots of hops. Bitter finish with citrus and grass. Excellent APA.
