COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Bottle bought at GBBF 08. I love these Californian pale ales, so easy drinking. First beer of the day at 20.50 straight out of the fridge and straight down my throat to quench my throat. Moderate grapefruit hop on aroma, just enough malt to keep it all together and a light stinging lingering grapefruit hop finish. Just a perfect quaffing beer. Wish I had another 4 or 5 in the fridge as this one has seemed to disappear in about 5 minutes. Boy, was I thirsty.
