2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The aroma is quite enticing and leads you to believe that a very hoppy treat awaits your tongue. However, the taste is quite a let down. This beer is boring and watery.

Deep gold, clear, thin white head. Aroma of grainy, biscuity malt with some caramel, light hop aroma of citrus/pine. Flavor is similar with a crisp grainy maltiness, a touch of caramel, and a hop flavor that is fairly grassy. Nice drinkable pale ale.

Been wanting to try his beers for awhile. I was lucky to see it on tap at the Santa Barbara aiport. Having my doubts, being the recent publicity. I was quite suprised. Goldish yellow hue. Sweet malt hoppy aroma. Flavor of floral hops lingers on the tongue. A semi-dry finish ends this nicely made beer. Well done.

Taste is of pine, citrus, some bredy biscuit malts, and some setzler water in the background. Has a medium body with a slighty fizzy mouthfeel, and a dry, semi well hopped, semi bitter finish. overall, a pretty nice, sessionable pale ale.
