COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Clear golden pours with clean foamy white head. Smells of citrus, spice, caramel and sweet grain. Flavor is sweet citrus and malt upfront with a bitter hop spice at the end.

No i dla hopheadów...

Bottle. Pours clear gold with quickly settling white head. Aroma is piney, resinous hops, with a malty background, nutty, biscuit. Flavor is hoppy, resinous, citrus, with a nutty, cracker malt finish. Much better than I recall. Soft carbonation, medium-light body. Tasty, clean and drinkable.

12 oz. bottle of Pale 31. Gold color with thin head. Nose and taste is floral with honey. A subtle hop bitterness lingers on the palate. The floral hops were great and could be more prominent. Would have also liked a little more malt backbone.

Had on tap on vacation in Seattle. Pretty good. My first from Firestone Walker.

Nice golden orange color with a rocky tan head. The aroma had some nice citrusy hops tones, but also some ice tea, flowery hops, and caramel. The flavor was nice and malty sweet, hoppy bitterness, caramel, strong ice tea. Refreshing feel...bubbly, not too heavy. Pretty good APA.

12 oz. bottle at TJ’s. Poured hazy gold. Extremely smooth and light, crisp citrus hoppiness. More characteristic of an extra pale ale. Was expecting a little bit more from these guys but this one is very sessionable at least.

bottle my friend from work brought back from a trip to cali. Copper gold pour, small off white head. Aroma of metallic hops, coppery, also citrus, orange and grapefruit, with a touch of honey. Medium bodied, smooth, with a lasting bitter finish. Flavor is bright and hoppy, with a peppery finish, a touch of cayanne maybe?
