COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Nice floral hop aroma. Pours a golden yellow, white head. Satisfyingly hoppy, with a nice bitter finish. A good pale.

had this on the beach in PB. surprised by the golden color that it had as much hoppy character. sligt citrus nose carries through to the palate with more fresh hops. balanced well. better then i thought it would be. served a little too warm in a plastic cup that looked like glass??

On tap. The pour was pale copper, maybe a dark gold. The head was scant but managed to produce decent lacing. The aroma was light malt, some pine and floral hoppiness and ever so light citrus. The flavor was relatively light, more focused on sweet malt and some bright floral hops. Only a bit of citrus. Clean, easy drinking. Problem free if uninspiring.

Bottle. Taste is hay, grain, light hops and wheat. Firestone makes great beers, but I’m a little surprised by the high rating of this beer. Average.

Guldig klar med litet vit skum. Mycket citrus humle i både doft och smak. Väldigt fyllig trots låg% med bra beska

Pours pale golden with a super tiny white head. Smells rather simple, but pleasant; soft malt character with some subtle California style hoppings. Taste is directly bitter with hints of sweetness on the back end. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Firestone Walker Pale 31 finishes with a drying bitterness that calls for another drink.

Clear amber color, with no lasting head. Very fresh and hoppy aroma with a nice whiff of oranges. More orange in the taste, as well as a few floral notes. Active carbonation on the tongue, with some maltiness towards the finish, along with the advertised vanilla, albeit barely discernable. Fantastic finish. Very clean, very nice. I would actually recommend seeking this out if you are a fan of pale ales... probably one fo the best session beers I have yet to drink. Incredibly quaffable.

On Cask at Blind Tiger. Pours a golden orange color with white foam head. Aroma of grapefruit and caramel. Light, sweet earthy taste with a muted bitter layer. Decent.
