COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

Bready, biscuit malt, and grapefruit, floral aroma. Biscuit and light caramel malt flavor. Citrus hop flavor; more floral in the finish. Lingering bitterness and fruit.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear golden color. White head dissipates quickly. Nose and flavor are pine. Dry bitter aftertaste.

On draft. Clear golden color with one finger white head. Floral aroma. Floral and a little citrus on the taste. Ends dry. A pretty good beer.

No i dla hopheadów...

Draught pours a cloudy orange brown with white head. Floral, hay and citrus aromas are present. Taste is a bit underwhelming, with no real flavor outstanding. An ok beer, but not the best.

Bottle - light yellow pour with a medium head. Grassy aroma with a lemony grassy taste. Somewhat dry on the finish. Better than the beer that Firestone is calling their session beer (FW Easy Jack).

Wittales (678) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Appearance was clear yellow gold with diminishing white 2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet pale malts, citrus fruits, grain, clean yeast profile. Taste was sweet pale grain malt backbone with lemon, pine, grapefruit hops playing mildly. Palate was smooth soft CO2 with meduim body, then mild lasting hoppy finish. Wonderful Pale with just enough hops.

Bottle poured into dollar store tulip. Clear golden yellow with thin head. Some flowery hops but very mild. Crisp and slightly sweet...not your usual Firestone. A little too watery / mild for an APA...good but not great.

12 oz. from Chuck’s. I thought this was going to be meh, but it’s fantastic. Leave it to Firestone to turn out excellent well-crafted session beers. Had no idea I was so late to the party.
