COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

A very drinkable APA, nothing special, but refreshing on hot summer day. I was expecting more from a dry hopped pale ale.

August 2016 - Bottle share at GBBF 2016 as ’Firestone Walker Pale 31’. Clear yellow, still, foamy white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is lemony, boiled sweets. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is rubbery, lemon, sugary, mixed citrus. OK. (3.4)

2nd beer tasted at Salone Del Gusto, went the wrong way doing Double Jack first. Pours golden with slight haze, big white head the nose tells you to expect a big pallet with a Pine burst coming through, First sip is big and for a Pale Ale its a big beer. Hop forward and big length. Not bad

Golden color with white short head. Strong aroma of hops. Very bitter, almost covered other tastes. Long bitter finish. Good one but not my type. I must say I like strong IPA more.

7 week old can from mixed 12 into a tulip. A: Clear slight orange tinted gold with slow bubbles feeding a 1/2" head with fair retention and elaborate patches of lace. S: Light grapefruit/tangerine scent with a bit of honey. T: Bitter pith flavor up front. Tart citrus fruit and zest note coming in finishing with a hint of pine and wood. Pith lingers. Great balance of flavors. M: Crisp and light with stiff carbonation tingle and pithy but fresh clean finish. O: Very nice in all aspects. Easy recommendation.

There it is, the famous pale 31 had it before and going to rate it now. From the bottle poured into nosing glass. Clear straw coloured with huge white head. Intense grassy herbal nose and light floral citric notes. Taste is intensiv grassy herbal slightly bitter while still floral. All time classic with an original hops Profile that is not that comon in times of super hoppy IPA’s

Yep, like it. Nice appearance, okay aroma but above all good mouthfeel and aftertaste. Fruity in smell, taste and aftertaste.

From a bottle while hanging out at a friends house and raiding his fridge. Hoppy and decent. Just not spectacular.

Bottle: Drank from the bottle. Aroma and taste was nice hops with a malt balance, little bit of pineness.

Bottle: Golden pour with a fluffy eggshell head, decent lacing throughout the glass. Nose is sweet and hop filled with citrus and floral hop notes. Clean taste is light citrus sweet and moderate bitters. Faint malty base. Really easy drinking. This should be available anywhere that serves pizza.
