COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

pours a nice amber with a decent head that quickly dissipates. Smell is of grapefruit, flowers and pine needles. Taste is a little on the watery side, but has a nice hop kick to it. Overall a decent beer.

Poured an effervescent golden with a fizzy/frothy off-white head. Bitter citrusy hops, with a touch of floor cleaner character. Tastes of mild citrus with a small hop kick, slight sweet smoothness. Rather smooth body... not as much presence as I would like. Easy drinking but bland.

Very pleasant APA with pine and grapefruit hoppiness I like so much, but not overpowering the slightly sweet malt base of caramel and toffee. Excellent beer.

pale golden colored pour with a soft barely tinted off white head. the nose is a bit dirty/earthy... almost british type hoppy aromas mixed with caramel, pale malt, orange, grass and light florals. medium bodied and crisp though the carbonation is low/soft. the flavor is pretty much the same... more earth, spice and a touch of dry piney hops. there is enough dryness and bitterness to keep me interested but nothing else really stands out. 6/3/6/3/15/3.3

Clear orange-amber color, small white head. Very citrus-juicy aroma, also some bread. Citrusy, pale malty flavor. Balanced and sweetish pale ale.

Draft @ Yardhouse. Aroma has biscuit, some light floral, but pretty light. Taste is a pleasant fruity hop profile with the bready malts showing up in the middle and taking over. Finish is slightly bitter, a little watery. Decent quaffer.

Received as extra from mkade8883. Thanks, Matt! Nice lookin’ beer!Pale copper and clear with minimal, off-white head. More amlt in the nose reminiscent of Bass (still oneof my favorite standbys). Sharp and dry on the tongue with a clean finish. Highly sessionable though I wish there was a little more malt to it. Would buy this as "standard inventory" if it was readily available.

Cask at Get Real NY. Brown, light fruit, tea, hoppy, light bitterness, pretty straightforward, easy drinking.

Better looking in the glass than the Double barrel ( to me), golden body with decent head. Pleasant hop aroma, good first impression in the taste but then had not a lot of depth, drank ok just hoping for a little more.
