COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale 31 is an ode to our home state of California—the 31st to be named in fact. Beer may not be associated with terroir the way wine is, but we believe that where we’re from impacts how our beers taste. This California Style Pale Ale represents the bold yet approachable spirit that embodies our state. A crisp floral hop aroma precedes a medium-body and clean finish.

I have to admit that this stape in my fridge during the warmer months. Why it’s not been rated til now is odd. It’s just a light, semi-hoppy, full of flavor, easy quaffing beer that’s always a nice price $7-8 a sixer.

Aroma is really floral. It’s easy to forget about the hops and think this thing was infused with some herbs, petals or fruit, because it has such a unique aroma for a pale ale. Flavor had some medium sweetness to it, keeping things very well balanced with the woody hops. There’s a zing of fresh hop right at the end of the swallow that’s easy to notice and quite welcome. Phenomenal beer for the Summer time weather.

A well made pale ale. Too straightforward to make me love it but if looking for a safe pale ale without unique hoppiness this is a refreshing and solid choice. Bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

4th July 2014, on tap pint in The Public House Bar, Venetian, Las Vegas. Solid enough Pale Ale with plenty of citrus hop notes in both the nose and taste, crisp and refreshing. The bar is fairly dark so the exact colour eluded me, light amber maybe? Medium bodied, if a little over carbonated for my UK palate. Came very cold, flavours appeared gradually as the beer warmed a little and became more bitter as time went on.

A "California Pale Ale". Doesn’t taste that great, actually. I would be interested in trying more from this "style", if they exist.

It's a good pale. Honestly, I had it a couple hours ago at a BBQ and don't remember much about it, other than, "Hey, that's good." ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from the "Beer Shoppe". Pours a clear golden orange color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus, and pine. Taste mimics the nose. Decent, but nothing special here. Your run of the mill pale ale.

Pours clear gold with a finger of white head. Aroma is grassy, floral and a little fruity. Taste is similar with a sharp bitter finish.

This was a very solid beer loads of citrus and floral notes on the nose which are balanced well by the malty backbone which shines through at the end

No i dla hopheadów...

Bottle. Golden yellow with a foamy white head. Aromas of citrus, peach, ginger, great. Dry taste, pleasent bitterness. Decent malty hoppy bitterness. Great pale ale.

Pours golden with medium-lived off-white head. The nose reveals notes of citrus, mango, apricot, berry; overall bright fruity notes combined with light earthiness reminiscent of noble hops and a hint of pine and caramel. The flavor is not as big as could be expected from the nose; it even feels a little watery but still fitting for a regular pale ale. The bittnerness on mid-palate is moderate and the finish doesn’t reveal much of a heat from the alcohol. The aroma of piny resin is a little bit more obvious upon taking a sip than it was initially on the nose. The carbonation might be slightly above average, but not enough to be in the flavors’ way by any means. A very nice one; I’ll have another right away.
