Everything we love about classic German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.

Draught. Pale yellow with very small white foamy head that dissipated quickly, slight doughy aroma, sweetish taste with yeast flavor, high carbonation, abrupt finish. Disappointingly mundane fot Firestone Walker.

Draft at Eulogy. Hazy golden straw pour. Strong pilsner flavors. Great orange-tangerine peel flavors. Spicy tang. Nice citrusy hop pils.

12 oz bottle poured in a pilsner glass. Light yellow with med head that dissipates quickly to great clarity. Aroma is light wheat, hop and a mild skunkiness. Flavors of pale wheat, noble hops, very slight malt and finishing with a skunk note. A very balanced beer encompassing the characteristics of a European Pilsner married with a hop accent.

12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear straw yellow with a full white head. Aroma: Lots of Saaz peppery/green hoppiness, a little Pils malt in the background. Palate: Medium-ish body, moderate carbonation with a bit of the characteristic Czech Pils smoothness. Flav.: Fairly aggressive green/grassy/herbal hops with slightly more malt support than the nose; dry with nice bitterness and a long, hop-forward finsish.

A pretty good Bo Pils.

nice clear yellow. some visible carbonation. head dissipates quickly and leaves a tiny bit of soapy bubbles around the top. not a super lively mouthfeel. a little watery. some lemon on the flavor, not a lot of malt on the backbone. i really dig the long bitter finish. as a pilsner, it does it’s job being an easy going thing you can put away with little effort, and the 5.3 is a plus. I actually like the urquel a little better, but 4.4 is pretty low. I end up drinking too much of them. a six of this is just right, and pleasant the whole way thru. i can dig it. would buy again if it could get under 10 bucks for 6. i used to get union jack for 5.99. lets get back to those days please. good job.

12 oz. bottle. I am not sure. A sheen of snow on the lawn and then it rained and then it froze. You broke off a triangle shard of it and took up some grass and dirt underneath. About an inch thick. The melt from that I guess with maybe a touch of chamomile.

Clean earthy hop aroma, pours a crystal clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Nice fruity hop flavor in the beer, with a very light body, and a lingering crisp bitter finish. If you like hoppy, this is one of the better pilseners that I’ve had.

Pours pale golden with a nice egg shell colored head. Nose is bread malts and hop bitterness. Same in the flavor, which has a nice balance to it. Easy drinking.
