3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a very light straw color, with a solid head. Light aroma, mostly hop-driven, but with a hint of malt in the undertones. Refreshing flavor - the hops provide notes of citrus and a bit of pine; the malt complements the hops nicely, but lets them shine. A lot of subtle complexity. Very nice example of the style.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale golden, well carbonated, with a spongy white head that holds. Lemongrass aroma with a hint of pine needles and slight metallic notes. Lemon-pepper flavor balanced with toasted rye, leans towards bitterness but pleasantly so. Mid-bodied with a long-lasting aftertaste, totally sessionable. A nice American-made pils for your European palate. ~~~ Single 12 oz. bottle from a mix-a-six, Mariano’s, Oak Lawn, IL.

I hate rating beers that have not travelled well - not fresh with dead hops.
