Everything we love about classic German Pilsner with a hoppy Bohemian twist. Pils is a bright straw colored lager beer with playful carbonation topped with beautiful white foam lace. Delicate lightly toasted malt flavors underscore noble German hop character. Hallertau-grown Magnum hops deliver the lupulin foundation while generous amounts of Spalter Select hops bring floral aromatic and spicy herbal notes. As a twist on the traditional Pils, we dry hop with German Saphir for a touch of bergamot zest and lemongrass. A refreshing, light-bodied and hop-driven Pils.

355ml Can from Brewdog’s online store:
Light & fresh with a fluffy feel and nice citrus flavours. It’s clean with more hops than usual for the style but holds a nice balance with some pleasant bitterness coming through alongside some background sweetness.; great stuff.

12 oz can into a tulip Best by 12/25/2015 A: Pours a big frothy 2 finger head with long retention. Clear pale gold with slight greenish tint and a few bubbles drifting to the top. Average amount of patchy lacing remains with each sip. S: Tart lemony floral hop scent with a stiff cracker whiff behind. Also slight pine. Smells delicious. T: Sour bread taste up front, quickly joined by maybe a more herbal hop note than in the nose. A bit more piney. Nice balance and good overall taste, but perhaps does not taste quite as good as it smells. M: Light body with average to slightly below average carbonation. Very drinkable with a short to medium clean bitter and resinous finish. O: A highly rated pilsner and deservedly so. Does everything fairly exceptionally. Not terribly expensive and worth the short road trip I have to make to obtain. One of the best of the style to be sure.

Can from BottleDog, Edinburgh. Hazy yellow body with a quickly fading white head. Lively fizz. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, lemon cake and cucumber. Flavour of green vegetables, crisp lemon and papery malts. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A hoppy Lager - verging on harsh.

Light white head. Clear. Kind of acidic aroma with some euro hops. Yeah, pretty hoppy. Really stylistic flavor. Kind of has an acidic flavor that lingers. Some sweet but light bodied.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours pale gold with a white head. Taste like a Pilsner, smooth hop, crisp, like a good summer time beer. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught at the Linq Hotel in Vegas. The beer pours a pale yellow-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly spicy hops character and notes of citrus and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
