Bottle: hazy golden orange pour with medium-sized white head. Aroma is bubble gum, wheat, caramel, and a spicy yeast note. Flavor is bread, wheat, bubble gum, caramel, light orange and yeasty notes. Palate is mostly sweet with a soft spice tingle. Easy drinking, nice flavors; almost a cross between a belgian ale and a hefeweizen.

12oz bottle pours nearly clear deep gold with copper hues and weak off white head. The aroma has a pleasing mix of citrus and banana with a mild level of citrus like tartness cutting through the sweeter notes as well as a bit of grainy malts. The taste begins with a smooth blend of yeasty spices and banana notes. The banana grows some to midway but is able to restrain itself from getting out of control. It seems to be a bit on the sweet side.

Bottle, shared with my wife on our deck in the 34 degree evening heat. Ahhhh, summer! Orange-tinted golden, hazy, medium white crown of fine bubbles. Aroma is light spice, soft banana, wheat. Soft palate, ripe banana, hint of orange, light spices. Lightly tart finish. Nice balance, nice flavours for the patio. See? Wheat beers don’t have to be boring!

Very nice banana and clove aroma, pours a lightly cloudy orange, with just a dusting of white head. Slight hint of lemon and orange, which clashes a bit from the banana and clove notes. Very light palate, and very easy to drink. Not a bad little session beer.

This is a refreshingly smooth beer with a clean finish. Great summer beer. Can be filling if you are up for more than a few.

Lubiere (10187) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 15, 2012
A hazed amber weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant fruity bananas with berry notes, nice and smooth, cloves, good. In mouth, a smooth banana and cloves with light grassy notes, oily mouthfeel, a bit light but refreshing. 12 on. bottle from Total Wine Summerlin, 1.49$.
