Grunt fill from Alberstons. Pours out a hazy amber with small fluffy head. Malt dominates the aroma, and kicks it up a notch in taste. Toffee, caramel, very mild bitterness. Unfiltered characteristics a nice addition.

On tap at the tour. Pours a mostly clear golden orange with fluffy white head. Aroma and taste of bready malt and earthy hops. Clean and easy, but nothing too exciting.

On cask at Stone. Amber pour, slightly hazy, with a off white head. Bready, malty, mildly bitter, a bit of grain sweetness. Light and easily drinkable.

Sample at GABF 09/26/2015, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Hazy brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually. Partial sheets of lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, wood and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, earthy malt, fruit and oak. The finish is malty up front with a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pours a rich, hazy amber color with a creamy off white head. Caramel, toffee, toast, yeast, clove and earthy aroma. Caramel, toffee, toast, yeast, mild chocolate, oak, smoke and date flavors. Medium body and carbonation with a toast and caramel finish.

Draft. Huge aroma of oak, nothing but oak. Flavors of a traditional ESB, caramel, with some ginger ale. Crisp, oaky finish. Marvelous!

Had the original back in September 2012. Now having a pour from a Firkin at Good Dog in April 2015 for a Firestone Walker event. Cloudy orange amber with a reasonably thick off-white foam. Nice medium-full body (likely due to being unfiltered.) Good lace. Medium-light vanilla caramel malts. Nice bit of chocolate. Orange pith marmalade. Some vegetative aged celery and peat notes. Great floral notes. Plenty of darkish orange/tangelo/mandarin peel flavors as well. The unfiltered body definitely positively adds to the brew.

Man this is a cool beer. Has a really nice malty flavor and just enough hops. Crackers, bready. Tasty!!

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy copper/amber with an off-white head. Med + body. Flavor is a bit earthy with slightly roasted malt and citrus, perhaps with other fruit. Rather mild flavors. Finishes towards dry and mildly bitter.
