On keg with lunch at the brewery. Slightly hazy brown, ring of head. Aroma of raisin, honey, baking bread. Medium to high carb. Wholemeal toast, bready malt. Some slight estery fruit from the yeast, rounded back-end with some vanilla, the union system in effect.

Pour on tap at Mayor of Old Town, hazy dark reddish pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, some oak into a bit of spice, earthy notes, touch of vanilla with a slight herbal and grassy note. Taste is a mix of herbs, grass, some nice earth into a bit of red fruit, some nice caramel, toffee, slight oak, finishing sweet, slightly dry. Maybe a bit spicier and more herbal than the regular version.

11/11-unfiltered dba a little fuller flavored and more robust all around, though the aroma and flavor profile hasn’t changed much."

Pours a darker amber color with some haziness, but not much. Barrels, oak, a little vanilla and caramel on the nose; not much on the palate, doesn’t follow like it should. Finishes bitter.

No retention and no lacing. Smells of caramel, vanilla and oak. Tastes of big oak, caramel and toffee. Sweet finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ World of Beer, Seattle, WA

Pours amber brown with a smooth head. Aroma of malts, bready notes, hints of oak, wood, nuts and chocolate. Taste is malty, sweet and sticky with hints of syrup, wood, nuts and cocoa. Finish is sweet and sticky with some bready malts and syrup. Quite easygoing, a bit stuffy.
