Our flagship Double Barrel Ale 100% fermented in new American oak barrels and unfiltered. This is the beer that is blended with stainless fermented beer to make standard Double Barrel Ale.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of wood and sulphur, leading to a dry, woody, and lightly vanilla finish.

Cask at Get Real New York. Amber pour. The nose is intensely oak. Rich vanilla and a bit of light fruity hoppiness as well. Sort of muted hops and light fruit. The oak is a little too forward here for me - all oak and nothing else.
