Pale golden in color with soft white head. Light bready-malt aroma. Very mild, a signature light bready sweetness but not much to it at all.

On tap. Classic English Bitter profile -- caramel malt, a little breadiness, and a medium body. Quite sweet, a little bready, and just right for the syle.

On tap at Citizen Burger Bar. Aromas of caramel, toffee, some vanilla, nutty. Slightly hazy brown with a mostly lasting white head. Somewhat sweet, nutty earthiness. Light-medium bodied.

Leighton (18517) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2016
Draft at the Firestone Walker Taproom in Marina del Rey, CA. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. Nice bready character, lightly bitter with some leaves, toasted grains and caramel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Smooth on the finish with further bready malts and toffee accents. Very enjoyable. Well rounded.

(En fût et en cask à Firestone Propagator): Des sucres bronzés, du chêne légèrement épicé et un enrobage vert modéré. Pintable.

Tap: This is an improved version of the beer. Aromatics are great. Lots of malt, barrel ferment and mocha. Again the palate is simple short and sweet.

Draft at the brewery in Paso Robles. Not as hazy as I had expected for an unfiltered beer but I guess I’m used to other styles. Not too bad. Better than i remember DBA being. Kinda wish now that I had done a side by side.

Remarkably crisp and clean tasting overall. Prominent malt, oak, hop flavors. Very fresh.

Grunt fill from Alberstons. Pours out a hazy amber with small fluffy head. Malt dominates the aroma, and kicks it up a notch in taste. Toffee, caramel, very mild bitterness. Unfiltered characteristics a nice addition.

On tap at the tour. Pours a mostly clear golden orange with fluffy white head. Aroma and taste of bready malt and earthy hops. Clean and easy, but nothing too exciting.
