Golden-amberish in appearance. Sweet and bitter bop aroma. Not much malt flavour, but a very large hop flavour. Narrowly manages to avoid being unbalanced. Very smooth in the mouth. Lovely.

Pale clear amber with a small white head. Has a nice tropical fruit aroma with peach, pineaplle on top of a light caramell foundation. Flavour is the same with a addition of a nice "off note" that I cant put my finger on. Ends on a dry and very bitter citrus loaded note. Body is medium with rather sharp carbonation.

Bottle 12fl.oz.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090805]

12 ounce bottle from South Bay Drugs ($1.79). Pours a cloudy amber with small layer of off-white foam. Aroma is sweet and fruity hops (peach, pineapple, citrus). Flavor tends more toward sweetness than bitterness, especially when compared to other California IPA’s. Sweet hoppiness (more fruitiness) combines very well with a solid malt backbone in this one. Medium body and only a small amount of bitterness in the finish. A small amount of detectable alcohol, but otherwise a really good IPA.

Shared by our Beer Pimp Brian! Shared with Uncle Steve. The hypocratic Drbayern, The amazing beer Pimp Brian and The King of the Celts, Celticbrew. Incredible beer! A great hop aroma. Poured a clrystal clear dark yellow with a great white head that was lacy and stayed and stayed. The hps were smooth and balanced. Probablly balanced as well as they could ever be! The back end was just as nice. the mouthfeel was like velvet. this beer is as good as sex! Very easy to drink

Bomber. Clear, gold body. Frothy, white head, mostly diminishing. Pleasant hoppy aroma of pineapple, orange peel, citrus, pine. Hints of caramel, apricots, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Moderately acidic. Mostly hop-driven taste, but enough sweet malts below the bitterness to add balance — except in the finish which is long lasting and bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, moderate carbonation. Not as well balanced or as interesting as Alpha King, for example, but still a nice, bitter IPA.

Golden with a small white head. Aroma of tangerine, peach and caramel. Very sweet with a chalky, acrid bitterness

Meh. I think I might need to try it again. Felt just a touch to alcoholic to be a session IPA, not quite enough to be a DIPA. Weird middle ground. Palate was off due to the place serving it. Consider this a PSA for the Red Room in Santa Cruz to get their shit together and carbonate their beers properly.
