3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear deep gold into a snifter. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Resin and grapefruit aromas. Dry with bitter pith upfront turning to sweet toffee before the sour earth and resin finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Just tapped at Lunar Brewing Co., and dispensed to a shaker with a clear, golden hue, moussy, off white/light cream, fairly lasting head foam, and foamy cling to the curtainy lacing. The aroma was a pleasant but mellow combination of citrus as orange & grapefruit, resiny pine, and soft malt. This nice Pale Ale nose then morphed into something a lot bigger in the flavor with a blast of tongue coating, strong and lingering hop bitterness, enough malt to support it, and some hints of woodiness. Kick ass, and one of the best IPAs Iíve had in awhile!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured on tap from the Lazy Dog Cafe. It had a honey like color with a hoppy aroma. Taste is very good with some pine and citrus. Very refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nicely balanced and flavorful IPA. The aroma and taste are that of lightly toasted malts and subtle caramel with the dominating factor being a citrus hop and spruce character. The beer finishes crisp and medium dry with a really nice citrus character. Good stuff.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz. bottle- Pours orange golden with a nice frothy bone white head and decent lace. Aroma is all hops, spicy piney hops, some citrus. The taste is sticky grapefruit hops, floral, wonderful IPA, some peach, mildly bitter, it has a malt backbone that is not too noticeable, great beer. The body is medium, carbonation is medium, sticky on the palate. This is a close to perfect IPA, I would like a little more bittering hops, but that is nitpicking, great beer.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Draught. Pours a clear golden with a frothy white head. Smells of grapefruit and other citrus and floral hops. Tastes if a light bitterness and sweetness, very complementary. Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Finishes slightly dry.
A very easy to drink ipa.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Was just talking about having not rated this one for some reason, so why not order a bottle and knock it off while enjoying one anyway? Light amber color with a nice initial head and minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus and resinous elements, comparable to stone. Flavor follows with a good piney resinous kick, but this also has a mildly juicy malt base to round it out. Mouthfeel is fairly full for the style but quite drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma is all things pine hops. Flavor is again all pine/citrus hops with minimal malts. This is west coast IPA all the way. Iím already having hops burps. A must for hop heads.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAR 5, 2012 Clear amber pour with a fairly tractile fizzy white head. Nose holds brilliant white grapefruit, lemon zest, grass, and floral hops. The flavor adds beautiful orange and clementine along with hemlock, juniper, and spruce. Very clean and unmitigated, and drinks very well for a 7.5% IPA. Excellent.
