Bottle. Aroma is pine, musk, citrus ring, resin, and light caramel. Slightly cloudy copper with little to no head. Clean palate, smooth with bitterness mostly in the finish. Not a lot of flavor depth, but enjoyable pine and fruit notes. Finishes with a dry grapefruit tangyness.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2011 On tap at the brewery. Deep, clean hops aroma. Floral, fresh, and citrus notes. One of the better fresh IPAs Iíve smelled. The taste is really good as well but ends on a somewhat light note. Great beer. After multiple fresh pints via the brewery, I have to increase my rating score. The batches vary slightly but they are almost always excellent with a clean hop bitterness, floral notes, and a dank, semi-resinous hop component with some honey sweetness from the malt. A personal favorite.

Clear, light orange pour, minimal white head. Grass and pine nose, grapefruit middle and finish. Light body, not much maltiness. Not really an English-style IPA, which is what one would expect from the name.

Footbalm! Average kid in class. Cheap ass 12oz from the good old mormon state brain washing liquor store. Iíll sip it again.

Clear amber-ruby. Medium off-white head. Hyphenated aroma of citrus-pine. Malty-caramel comes through in the flavor. Excellent bitterness to sweetness ratio. I really dig this one. Hopefully it will continue to be available in my parts as this one is a keeper.

Bottle. Amber beer with a light head. The aroma is well hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped and quite thick tasting. Overall a reasonable well hopped IPA.

An actual IPA - cool. Damn, it has a great bitterness snap breaking up the significant maltiness. Drinkable. Somewhat unique in itís single note bitterness. Not over the top.

12 oz. Clear burnt orange with a lasting creamy quarter inch of foam. Juicy citrus fruit , some florals, and toffee on the nose. Soft, light-medium body is smoothly carbonated and crisp. Flavor is orange-grapefruit, light caramel, and a big finish of peppery wood and resin.

Pour from a growler obtained at Whole Foods in Fair Oaks, VA. Pours a transparent dark amber, darker than the usual IPA with a few fingers of fluffy white head. Aroma is awesome, pure pinecone hops, reminds me a lot of Troegs Nugget Nectar. Taste is good, lots of pinecone hops, with a touch of sticky sweetness. A bit maltier than the average IPA. Finish is bitter hops and a touch of malt. Itís very good, but doesnít quite make the top tier of IPAs- a touch too sticky and heavy.

Growler from Fair Oaks Whole Foods. Dark orange pour with a nice thin light tan head. Lots of pine on the aroma. Flavor dominated by hops. Some caremel malt. Mostly dry with a bit of sweetness. Piny hops with some citrus and a very bitter finish. Good IPA.
