4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the YardHouse in Scottsdale, AZ. Slightly hazy amber with ruby highlights filtering through below a tall light tan head with great retention. No mistaking this for anything other than a West Coast IPA after a whiff of the strong pine forest aroma. Crisp floral and citrus hops dominate the flavor supported by light touches of chocolate and creamy butterscotch. Solid malt profile keeps the hops focused. Medium dry finish with a healthy bitter pop. Top notch IPA.

Double walker is great and I thought this might be underwhelming. No. bright copper color, smallish head. Aroma and flavor are intensely floral and intensely citrus. Sweet and malty with the hops too back it up. Great beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear gold with a nice head and a fair amount of carbonation. Hoppy, citruses aroma with pineapple and hints of orange and possibly apricot/peach. Fresh taste and a moderate to light malt profile but it is pretty much overwhelmed by the hops. Refreshing mouthfeel. Nice finish with a good aftertaste which resembles the aroma.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium pale beige head. Pale amber body. Strong floral tropical
fruit aroma with strawy resiny notes. Dry-sweet pineapple and
alcohol taste with strawy earthy malty notes. Mid-bodied. Soft,
mild mouthfeel. Clean and balanced. Dry resiny earthy tropical
fruit aftertaste with wooden floral notes. Absolutely outstanding
IPA. Clean, fresh, balanced, and drinkable. (0.355l bottle, City
Beer store, San Francisco.)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2011 . A touch of florals too. The taste is certainly a big west coast IPA with a good dose of hops. What little malt sweetness there is gets pushed away quickly. Lots of herbals and citric notes on the tongue. Medium mouthfeel with medium, sharp carbonation and a long bitter finish. This is a pretty solid IPA

I have tasted a ton of IPA’s. This has to be the WORST IPA I have ever tasted. I spent over 10 dollars on a 6 pack and didn’t want to waste it. After choking down the last bottle over a four day period, I actually thought I might quit drinking IPA’s. I don’t know how in the world this beer is rated so high. My advise is to by just a bottle of it prior to making a larger dollar purschase.

This was an excellent beer that I very much enjoyed. However, I tasted this a few days ago so I cannot offer a better comment.

[Bottle] Clear golden appearance, pillowy but lasting head. Beautiful blend of pineapple and grapefruit hops in the aroma. Easy drinking palate, malt profile is thin but a little biscuity, while there’s some tropical sweetness upfront before the dominant bitter citrus finish. Very pleasant and enjoyable west coast IPA, dominated by the hoppy finish but not too aggressive.

This has a very special aroma, flavor and taste.
Telling from my heart – I love the flavor of this beer
For reasons i can’t explain - this strong beer of 7.5% alcohol makes me appreciate the love of Louis Prima and glorious butt cheeks of special women even more - such a special beer.
This delicious beer is probably best consumed while reminiscing about times of great joy and celebration.
I had a large bottle and all I wish do now is caress my best girls butt cheeks and dance. This is a very special IPA that should be sampled by the men of the world who appreciate fine things such as this beautiful beer, glorious cheeks and Louis Prima.

Clear amber beer. Dry palate, slightly soft. Rich hops that are a little harsher than the top drawer IPAs but still this very drinkable. There is some pineapple sweetness to offset the bittering grapefruit. Smooth creamy finish. Decent.
