3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a golden body with an chunky off-white head. Aroma is pretty hoppy, mostly citrus and resin, but very earthy. As it opens up a bit, more of the malt comes through in the nose. The flavor is similar; starts pretty hoppy, but moves on to a more malt-forward IPA as it warms. Overall, a very good IPA. Definitely moving this into the regular 6-pack rotation.

WOW! I didn’t expect much from this brew, but it delivers in a big way. appearance is a nice copper color, the right amount of carbonation, piney taste. As good as any other California IPA.

From trade with Mashmaster. Aroma of grapefruit, bread, caramel. The appearance is copper, translcuent/clear, white head. The flavor is caramel, bread, citrus, almost the reverse of the aroma. the body id medium. The finish is citrus, and pine hop bitterness. Very good overall. Nothing unusual, but solidly constructed. Thanks Tom.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle via trade. Pours a nice copper amber with an off white head. Tangerine like aroma. Medium bodied with a steady carbonation. Nice pale and toasty malt backbone that nicely blends into a good citrus and pine hop profile. Residual sweetness is spot on. Sharp bitter and dry finish. A very well constructed IPA, one of the best ones I have had in a long time.

Deep orange pour with a foamy head. Lots of hops in the aroma, spicy, citrus and pine. Flavor is dominated by resinous and citrusy hops with light caramel notes holding it all together. A delicious IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle from AJ’s in Scottsdale, AZ. Didn’t make many notes other than the scores and I seem to have blocked out this night of the Insight Bowl entirely. I do recall a slight imbalance in this brew though...like it was having an identity crisis on whether it was a California or Colorado style AND whether it was a regular or double IPA, with a little too much pine and a little too much booze. Generally good, but I didn’t get the world-class experience others seem to have had.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is strong citrus and flowery purfume hops. Light sweet caramel. Appearance is Light orange brown with small white head. Taste is similar to the hops aroma. Nice caramel and honey flavors as well, vanilla. Much bitterness but also nice maltiness and hops aroma really keeps this beer well balanced. Grapefruit and pine bitterness linger. Palate is medium and crisp. Overall a very nice beer. Tastes like the other FW beers.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz bottle, thanks vode! Copper color with creamy head. Perfumed and fresh flowery-citrusy hop aroma, lovely freshness. Flowery, lemony and tart fruity flavor with smooth bitterness and notes of mango. Very hop forward, just enough toffeish malt backbone. Very drinkable and smooth palate, I could drink lots of this.
