Pours a clear light orange with a good, thick, off-white head. Aroma is a perfect hop bomb. Little to no malts - this one is citrusy, resiny hops all the way through. A bit of honey and brown sugar counter in the flavor, and wow is this delicious. Full-bodied, big mouthfeel, with just a ton of hops. Wonderfully refreshing while still very flavorful. Fantastic - one of my new favorite IPAs.

Typicaly oprange IPA color with a nice white head. High hop nose of citrus and grapefruit. Floral and earthy notes as well.Bitter taste and a crisp finish.

Nice US hop aroma, all grapefruit and citrus. More grapefruit and then a heavy malt. Sort of oily or fat, but in a good way. Drinkable

Beautiful dark copper pour with a creamy head. Piney, dried fruit aroma. Lightly sweet flavor with lots of citrus peel bitterness. Great balance.

The gold medal winner of the 2008 Great American Beer Festival. Out of 104 IPAs, it took first place. Enough said.

Bottle. Pours a clear, bright amber, medium off-white head. Grapefruit, sweet malt and citrus dominate the aroma. Hops, citrus and a touch of caramel comes across strong in the flavor. Bitter and dry finish.

yeah alright but not great. has the standard US citrus hops going on and a substantial bitterness but the palate is too sweet for me.

This is like the other style IPA that I don’t lean towards. Beautiful complex floral aroma. Creamy marshmallow palate. Not to bitter. Where’s the malt? The caramel? Delicious but lacking. If they tweaked this in a different way.... Epic!
