355ml bottle. Clear, deep orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and bitter hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, pine, a touch of resin, caramel malty basis. Taste is moderately bitter, minimally biting hoppy, citrusy and piney, notes of grapefruit, orange, pine, minimally sweet caramel malty basis; soft palate, Hoppy, but not deadly bitter, superbly balanced, kicking, with a wider range of fruit flavours and not as cleaned and sterile as some other Californian IPAs; nice subtleties.

Top notch. Fresh citrus and floral hop aroma. Brassy color with a fizzy white head. Full but relatively light palate that was clean and well carbonated. Full of flavor with an upfront bitterness underlined by a slight sugary sweetness that didnít distract but complimented. Easy to drink a few.

The aroma has hints of caramel, pine, and citrus notes. Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Nice bitter blast of hops in the flavor, with a lingering bitter finish. The pine and citrus are the predominant flavors.

Piney-citrus nose with a touch of malt and fruitiness. Pours a pleasant gold-amber. Nice balance of malt and bitterness. Good hop flavor, not just bitterness. Overall, a very good pale ale with a good balance of maltiness, fruitiness and hops.

Definitely one of my favorite IPAs. Hops are more sweet than bitter, which I like. The beer has a nice balance of hops and malts and is terrific when poured from a tap.

From a 0.355l bottle @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. It has a fantastic bright shining clear golden color in the glass and a big lacing white top. Looks glowing and really inviting. The nose has a mild caramel sweetness, mildly hopped, some grapefruit and citrus. Smells quite nice. A bit low on the carbonation with a light oily mouthfeel. Itís grassy, somewhat bitter with a good amount of hops. Frozen strawberries comes to mind and traces of peaches. A good quencher! 03.05.2013

This beer pours an amber color. There is a solid amount of carbonation, and a medium sized head from the tap pour. Lots to like here - aggressive hop profile backed up with a reasonable malt backbone. Stays drinkable at a high ABV, and sits nicely between a strong IPA and a DIPA. Great citrus notes here, lemon rind and bitter orange peel.

Iíve purchased probably a half a dozen 6-packs of this beer in the past couple months and itís quickly becoming my go-to as it is becoming more widely available in the area. Nice smooth drinkable flavor with hoppy taste and the 7.5% abv. is not at all noticeable until the buzz kicks in on the 3rd or 4th beer. Plus I like the name. cheers!

Tasted from bottle. Fairly clear orange with white head. Great aroma that lasts throughout with citrus, pine and floral notes. Taste is similar to nose but has a nice sweet malt backbone that tones down the bitterness. Pine and floral notes and little more prominent on the taste than citrus. Nice even bitter taste thoughtout. Excellent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
