3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft - Caramel, straw and grassy hops with a touch of mild grapefruit. Clear gold with a rich head. Candy malt sweetness, lemon and grassy notes. Bitterness is significantbut so is the sweetness. I get a bit of lemon cleaner in this finish as well.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mellow citrus flavor coupled with a strong, dry bitterness. The flavor was well balanced, but not very distinct. I didn’t rate it higher because, while it is a nice, solid IPA, there is nothing unique about this beer. However, this is a good overall IPA with a strong, pleasant bitterness that is done right.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: median amber color, ranging from golden-yellow to even ruby/brown at some spots; exceptional clarity all around. Three-finger layer of off-white cream sits on top & sinks very slowly. Aroma in pungent with dank hop oils & hops; weedy, spicy, earthy, herbal. Back-end of bitter, tangy, & raw grapefruit rind & orange peel. Big malty presence on the nose, too, with huge toasted bread notes. Taste has some of the earthy, dirty, pungent hops up front with less involvement from pine, resins, & citrus peel. Malts are heavier on the palate; sweet bread, toasted crackers... No actual caramel or crystal malt flavors, though the color might suggest otherwise. I get a very, very slight nail polish remover-like alcohol note with some warmth in the aftertaste. Luckily it never gets too powerful. Good IPA, but it stops there. Let down just a little based on my high expectations.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
One of my favorite IPA's of all time. So drinkable but hoppy. Hope to be able to find more here in MD soon.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Definitely pretty delicious. Pours out amber with minimal head but is very lively with carbonation. Citrus hops are overwhelming from the aroma, to the second it hits your tongue, and through the finish. Definitely would drink again.

Very harsh start and finish, but has a surprisingly sweet middle. Ok aroma, but definitely rough.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at McGrath’s in Beaverton. Clear orange golden pour with white head. Lovely grapefruit citrus aroma. Hoppy citrus flavor with just the right sweetness to balance. Medium oily mouthfeel. Has a lingering bitterness. The excellent little brother of Double Jack. Very nicely made.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
1 month old bottle into snifter glass, clear light copper color with off-white head. Aroma of strong citrus (mainly grapefruit, some orange) and some pine. Taste is pretty fruity (pineapple, tangerine, more juicy citrus notes) balanced nicely with caramel malt backing. Medium body, low-moderate carbonation, sticky, rich with pleasant bitter finish. Tasty bitter juicy IPA, should have tried this sooner.
