I am rating this beer based on the draft pint that is sitting right in front of me. I had a six pack of these last week and they were nowhere near as fresh, hoppy, or balanced as the one I’m enjoying right now. This is one of the best IPS’s I’ve ever had. Recommended by the bartender, I am very impressed. Huge hop nose, mouthwatering palate filling flavor and and excellent finish. FW has done it again.

(Bottle) Pours deep golden with a creamy off-white head. The aroma holds grapefruity and lemon-like hops up front with undertones of oranges, pine, resinous, black currant tea, herbs wood, tart apricot, touch of lychee and wildflowers. Hints of toast, marshmallows and yeast. The nose is clean, straightforward, and yummy. The flavor is light sweet, medium bitter and tiny acidic with notes of bright citrus, herbs, grass, tea, tart apricot, lychee, wood and toast. Hints of dry honey, caramel and vanilla. The mouthfeel clean and soft and fairly smooth with a light carbonation. Citric, herbal and numbing piney finish. Light to medium bodied. Refreshing.

Bottle. Pours orange with a big frothy head that dissipates to a light covering and some lacing. Big bitter and citrusy hops up front. Middle is a nice malty balance, and the finish is very bitter. Medium carbonation and medium body in the mouth. Great WC IPA.

Nice reddish hue, with a solid head on it. Big grapefruit and citrus peel nose some matly undertones. Great IPA - I wish more places had this on and kept it fresh. Great beer.

I probably don’t give IPA’s their fair due. I prefer a less subtle and more earthy bitterness. When I detect grapefruit, I am off-put. The finish once the citrus quickly recedes is satisfying. Good brewery. This beer is not a "99"er, however.

Just a great classic IPA, nice and crisp. Citrus notes, with clean aftertaste.
