Oct 4, 2009 Pale gold with a rocky, light tan head. Citrus frutis power this aroma. Grapefruit, lemon, some orange, medium caramel malts, and soap- the soap isn’t distracting, though. Odd. Medium bodied with proper carbonation. Flavor of citrus much like the aroma. Grapefruit, and lemon with a hint of orange. A light caramel backbone but with the IBUs at 70 it doesn’t need any more than it’s got. A very enjoyable IPA. This bomber isn’t long for this world....

Transparent gold, light fizzy white head with heavy lacing. Nose has plenty of grapefruit, oranges, light berry, biscuit, and hints of tea. Very citrus flavor with some strong bitterness and moderate sugary tea. Bitter pine hop emerges with warmth. Very crisp body, no sugary fizz found in a lot of IPAs. Nice residual hop in the finish, lingering. Very nice, drinkable IPA.

Sep 16, 2009 On tap during Hopfest at Brouwer’s. Pours golden brown. Aromas are spicy hop, citrus and grapefruit, as well as some funkiness. Taste is floral, citrus, spice with a bitter finish. Nice creamy palate

Sep 10, 2009 Indy Brewers Fest 2009 - Hopapalooza - Aroma is pungent with a variety of hops. Flavor matches with a nice malt back to balance it out. My notes say "stank", which is good for an IPA.

Sep 9, 2009 Bottle at home from my GBBF 09 haul ... amber ... big bubbly white head ... that american pale ale hop little spice nose ... i wish i knew what it was that gives this distincive nose ... very fruity lime and pine hop ... juicy ... little dry ... little hop bitterness.

Sep 7, 2009 rich yet clear golden colored pour with a decent sized off white head and rings of drippy lacy foam.
it smells of honey, flowers, orange, spice, earth, wood, rosemary/sweet pine/juniper and maybe some peach.
the flavor is very floral... peach iced tea, orange, light caramel, malt sweetness, rosemary and a dry bitter finish which lingers. it’s good, dry and spicy but it lacks a real kick. it is more well balanced than i like but it is well crafted.
soft creamy carbonation combines with a medium body. the mouth feel is creamy as well behind the wall of bitterness. 7/4/7/4/16/3.8
