Aroma is grapefruit, pine and hops. Flavor is hop bitterness with pine, grapefruit with some light caramel. Finishes with grapefruit hoppyness. Solid mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Really solid hop forward IPA. Little bit heavier malt bill and this could be great. Reid (1089), Salem, Oregon, USA

Pretty pedestrian looking IPA. LIght orange/golden with a huge frothy off white head.
Nice aromas of citrus, spruce and over ripe apricot.
Nice fresh fruity IPA this one, very sweet, lemon rind, oranges, apricots and lychee. Mouth watering really.palate was on the thin side which added to drinkability in this muggy weather here in Salem.
Overall a good drinkable IPA in the "old style" mould of Bridgeport IPA.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Bottle, huge thanks to bitbucket, he’s the man! Pours medium amber, with a thick fluffy head with great lacing. Nose is fantastic, perfumed, spicy, citrus sprucey hops, delicate balance. Not as overtly hoppy as some IIPAs, but wonderfully balanced and complex. Flavors of grapefruit, flesh and rind, spruce tips, fresh pine character as opposed to resiny. Mild perfume and spice, especially in the finish, palate is malty and high quality, but serves as a foundation for the hops rather than trying to steal the show. Exactly how I like my IPAs. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA
