An instant classic, Union Jack is the recipient of numerous awards including back to back wins at the Great American Beer Festival. Union Jack is abound with hop aroma and character. In fact this well balanced, west coast IPA is dry hopped 3 separate times, each lot giving it more and more of the grapefruit citrus hop aroma and flavor it is known for. Overall it utilizes over 4 pounds of pacific northwest hops per barrel.

12 oz bottle from Ithaca Coffee Company. Pours quite light for a beer of this magnitude. Little white head, little lacing, quite carbonated. Aroma is a ridiculous amount of hops. I think the only beer that Iíve smelled that was so overwhelmingly hops was Hop Stoopid or Palate Wrecker; but, those beers donít come close to this. Taste wise, this thing is grapefruit, citrus hops, amazingly smooth and not extremely bitter on the end for a 7.5%. Just an absolutely fantastic beer!

On draft. Nice golden pour. Hoppy aroma with a little pine end citrus. Taste is simply awesome. Hoppy with a good malty finish. One of the best of the style (IPAs) out there, if not the best.

I first tried this beer at the Oregon Brewfest in 2010 and I fell in love. For me it is the perfect IPA. Nice hop aroma and extremely smooth well-balanced taste. Drinking this on draft gives me a beergasm every time and itís hard for me to stop drinking it once I start. Purely delicious.

This is the classic IPA. Malty with that northwest hop nose. Perfectly balanced hop, malt and bitterness flavors of citrus pine and fruits balanced with a strong malt backbone. Finishes clean and dry with a slight bitter end.

On tap at a work function, came with a high recommendation and did not disappoint. Citrus & pine on the nose, punch of hops on the palate. Lively carbonation, well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: pours clear golden, small, dense, off white head. Nose: resin, pine, peach, citrus hops. Quite nice. Flavors of resin, pine, sweet caramel malts, dry hopping really noticeable. Crisp, sticky on the lips as it's like hemp oil on there. Nice, short bitter bite. You can see why it's a classic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of my favourite beers of all time. There is a reason why this brewery won the 2012 Brewery of the Year at the World Beer Cup. This is their flagship beer and for good reason. A hop loverís dream, right up my alley.

Pours a nice golden yellow with a thin beige head. Aroma consists of floral notes and fruits. Flavor has the usual hints of pine, as well as fruits, mostly grapefruit. Very drinkable, lovely offering!
