4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Beer poors golden with a constant white head throughout the beer. Aroma is citrus dominated with a distinct malty bready characteristic. Flavor is medium sweet and medium high bitterness with hints of alchol coming through. Mouthfeel is nice, medium/low stickyness and a good fizz and bitterness that lingers. Overall this is an excellent go-to IPA. Wish this was available in CO

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear amber orange; light head. Pungent hop aroma. Medium bitterness. Caramelly sweetness. Body is on the thicker side. This is quite a nice IPA, but honestly I had built up some kind of high expectations and was expecting something else. I feel like this kind of IPA has been done before a lot.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Shared a bottle with my mate who picked one up at the brewery. Pours exactly how it looks on the label: orangey amber. Aroma if full of piney and citrusy hops, orange zest, with a certain earthy muskiness. Flavor is fairly hoppy, nothing too over-the-top, with definite grapefruit tones to join the orange and pine. There is something else in there too that I can only describe as Red Ale, a certain earthy, soil-like resin. Its a confounding surprise, and a taste profile I had never come accross in an IPA. Malt swings by at the end of the taste with a touch of caramel and bread, rounding out this distinguishable, chewy, creamy, wildly different IPA. If its available in your area, please do get one for yourself. It’s a treat and, probably, my favourite IPA.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle - I’ve been avoiding this one for a while, as the name led me to believe that this was more of a british style IPA, which sometimes are great but oftentimes seem to fall flat (at least the versions that we get in the US). This, however, seems to be an american style IPA. Pours a crystal clear medium yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma if full of very nicely balanced piney and slightly citrusy hops, orange peel zest, with a touch of oak staves and vanilla, along with a background of subtle toasted malts. Flavor is fairly hoppy, with definite grapefruity resins, nicely balancing toasted malts and subtle caramel. Finish is mildly bitter. This is very nice, and quite a surprise. This is just a well balanced, well made IPA, with obvious attention to detail. It is great when you find a beer that is unexpectedly great. I’ll be picking up a lot more of this.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A: snifter. orange-red copper in color with an off-white head. mild retention level. decent lacing.
S: big hoppy nose with some citrus and pine, very earthy. apples from the malts, some crystal malts in there.
T: nice well-balanced hop flavors all over this with a huge malt backbone. hops are more earthy with a slight fruitiness, while the malts are sweet yet subtle and accompany the malts very well.
M: medium-bodied. nice bite but mellows out really well. good carbonation level, that can be viewed as a little higher than normal.
D: I enjoyed this very much. Great IPA and very drinkable.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours light gold with a big, creamy white head. The head does not want to go and laces the glass nicely all of the way down.. Clear, with a nice carbonation. Medium body. On the nose, there is plenty of citrus-y, grapefruit. Floral. with some residual pine-y, resin-y hop characteristics. The grapefruit and pine come through on the tongue along with a nice somewhat balancing malt backbone. Getting some caramel in there. Not too bitter in the aftertaste. This is a nice, well rounded beer.
