An instant classic, Union Jack is the recipient of numerous awards including back to back wins at the Great American Beer Festival. Union Jack is abound with hop aroma and character. In fact this well balanced, west coast IPA is dry hopped 3 separate times, each lot giving it more and more of the grapefruit citrus hop aroma and flavor it is known for. Overall it utilizes over 4 pounds of pacific northwest hops per barrel.

One of my favourite beers of all time. There is a reason why this brewery won the 2012 Brewery of the Year at the World Beer Cup. This is their flagship beer and for good reason. A hop loverís dream, right up my alley.

Pours a nice golden yellow with a thin beige head. Aroma consists of floral notes and fruits. Flavor has the usual hints of pine, as well as fruits, mostly grapefruit. Very drinkable, lovely offering!

From a bottle at house of brews, 5/2012. Pours pretty light color for an IPA, not cloudy at all, almost like a pale ale, golden with medium head. Lots of bubbles like champagne almost at first, but settled down after a bit. Nose just a really pleasingly intense hoppiness, I'm not getting all the citrus and complexity that other people have mentioned... It just smells like straight hops to me, and tastes the same. Really good though. A great session IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a golden red with a good off white head. Aroma is citrus and hoppy. heavy in grapefruit, some pine, orange, and a bit of pineapple. Taste is extremely hoppy. Lots of grapefruit is the dominant taste. It is piney, with moer citrus fruits; mango, lemon, pineapple. Big hoppy aftertaste. Full bodied, sticky texture, and bitter. This is one fine IPA.

This one smells great from the outset. Fruity, almost apple aroma. Foam has staying power. Taste doesnt completely follow through, but still is quite good. Tracing good patterns, plenty of hoppy bitters. Pour an amber-like clear. From health food store in lebanon, NH.

Pours to a beautiful copper with a nice one finger head and spiderweb lacing. I shared a bomber with my buddy and was disappointed to have to share it (thatís friendship, huh?). This beer has a malty, caramel aroma with a slight resin tone. This is a smooth IPA, like a buttery Chardonnay, it floats on the palate. A nice caramel malt with very slight fruit on the tastebuds. It has a great linger. If it wasnít 7.5% ABV, it would be a great session.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2012 On tap and bottles. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with small head and medium lacing. Aromas and taste of biscuity malt, lemon zest, pine, other citrus fruits. Medium bodied and only a tad bitter. Smooth and sessionable ipa. Re rate, draft at PH, ultra citrusy, bitter, oniony hops. Very nice.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2015 Solid IPA, would gladly drink anytime. Resiny, grassy hop aroma. Clean bitter finish. Will stick with Daleís in fhe future though just to keep it local when Iím in the mood for something like this (I think Daleís is marginally better too).

Deep gold, very clear, persistent off-white head. Aroma: loads of citrusy hop aroma (orange and grapefruit), with underlying grainy malt with hints of caramel. Flavor: up front citrusy and lightly grassy hop flavor, lingering resinous hop bitterness has slight vegetal character, grainy malt backbone with some crystal malt notes, balanced finish.
