Rocky pillows of eggshell white top a light amber liquid that reeks of grapefruit and pine. I haven’t had an beer in quite a while that was so representative of that IPA cliché citrus and resin and it feels nice to get back to the basics. The aroma is powerful during the pour, holds strong until the first swallow, and the head laces the glass in sticky, persistent rings as the brew disappears. Nice finish, leaves my tongue a little dry, but not uncomfortably so, and hasn’t ruined my palate for the next brew for the evening. Bitter with a comfortable malt foundation, nicely balanced and apparently my newest go-to IPA. If only they had it available in 12s in my area...

Flaska i LA. bärnsten med vitt skum. Doft av tropiska frukter. Liknande smak med en kort efterbeska.

Bottle (12oz $1.50): Hazzy golden with nice white head. Need to add details, but generally a very good IPA that I could drink regularly.

My second favorite IPA on the market. Has a great color taste and palate. Excellent hop character.

355ml bottle. Clear golden pour with a white head. Aroma is equal parts caramel, pine and floral, but it’s unfortunately very muted. Taste has an initial malty sweetness before a moderate bitterness takes hold. Pineapple hints. Solid stuff but quite underwhelming. Would definitely like to try it fresher.

Yields a very impressive sunny glow in the glass. A shimmering, radiant orange with a good two inches of steady, rocky white foam atop. A hint of plum and prune underlie some deeply floral notes on the nose - a little of nan’s garden coming through. Biscuity, earthy, toffeeish and burnt sugar out-lines the aroma but there is definite stone-fruit in there. First taste gives ripe peach, plum and navel orange; tangy and tight. The body is moderate - tasting is cool and not chilled - with a sprightly liveliness. Floral and earthy with a nice peppery spice to it. Good length with bitter citrus and floral notes residing. Hints at the ABV to good show. Plenty of grainy, Summery malt in there too. Well balanced and seamless. On the dry side but holds the fruit up high. This is sessionable to a scary degree. Goes down a treat. Impressively simple!! (12fl.Oz, Bottled 22/07/14, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Superfresh bomber bottle imported by a friend. Aroma is bang on target. Citrus and orange peels, pine and a solid malt aura. The taste is beautiful. Medium sweet from tangerines, bitter from grapefruit and a slight slight underlying bread tone. Pretty dry finish. Solid IPA.
