355 ml bottle courtesy of my secret santa joeneugs. Pours clear golden with a rather small frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny sweet, slightly fruity, slightly herbal and hoppy fresh with grapefruit juice, lemon balm, caramel, crackers, freshly cut grass, pine needles, dried apricots, star fruit, pineapple, papaya, resin, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Taste is bitter, fruity, herbal and floral with crackers, grapefruit juice, pine needles, dried apricots, unripe mango, unripe pineapple, lemon zest, orange zest, resinous wood, grapefruit rinds, freshly cut grass, lemon balm and hints of biscuits. Mouthfeel is round, oily bitter, tiny astringent, soft and medium bodied, finish is dry and bitter with crackers, grapefruit rinds, pine needles, unripe tropical fruits, resin, orange zest, lemon zest and hints of moist green herbs. Very tasty! Dry extremely hoppy IPA.

From the can. Easy drinking IPA. Not outstanding, but definitely chuggable. Sweet malt, light hops, sticky, somewhat thin, and not detection of alcohol. Overall, not a bad IPA. Would recommend to others.

Had this in a 12oz bottle, date 12/10/14, today, from the House of 1000. Very hoppy, floral hop flavor makes it easy to drink, all of the jack IPA family are well recieved, when available in the Pittsburgh area

Pours light orange-gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is all kinds of citrus (grapefruit, orange, lemonade), peach, pineapple, and light malt. Taste is grapefruit, lemon, orange, slight stone fruit, pepper, cracker, and an interesting minty note on the end. Medium bitterness. Smooth carb, medium body, slight lingering herbal bitterness, finishes on the dry side. Overall a great IPA, one of my favorites.

Bottle shared with Bruce in his backyard. Pours golden yellow with a slight white foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet with some pine. Flavor is malty, toffee, some citrus but more pine. Medium bodied and smooth. Really nice beer.

Buona ipa

21.6.2014. Slightly hazy, pale. Nose is plenty of exotic fruits, passion, biscuit, grapefruit. Palate is summerish refreshing, exotic fruits and hops. Nicely balanced sweetness and bitterness.
