The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grass combined with medium notes of pine needles, leading to a dry and very bitter finish. Papsoe (14602), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 25, 2009 On tap. pours a clear deep golden with an off-white head. Very fresh - almost perfumy - peachy and piney hop accents. Medium body with sweet malts and fruit, and again a solid aroma hoppiness that leaves a great and balancing bitterness. A perfect IPA. 070709 yespr (11600), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Pizza Port, Solana Beach. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is grapefruit hops. Mild bitter initial flavour with a solid grapefruity flavour following into the finish. Light sweetness from the caramel malt too. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 4, 2009 Bottle from GBBF 09. When Firestone came and brewed for JDW last year this is what we wanted, not yet antoher golden ale. Clear orange/gold, lasting thin beige head. Lovely strong UK style hop aroma, bit of tangerine in there too. Lovely peppery hop. Decent tangerine. sweetish malt in mouth. I liked it very much. Yellow color, small white color. Bready, light citrusy aroma. Lime acidic hoppy flavor. Nice citrusy hops. Lighter than 7.5% indicates. Notes of grapefruit, pine and toasted malt. Dry bitter finish.
