3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Strong hoppy aroma. Amber colored with not much head. Smooth with citrus notes to start before the hops take over. Hoppy to finish, but not overpowering.

Great billowy head, that stays without dissipating, large amount of threading. Taste doesnít come on to strong, but is very nice, light roasted barley with a touch of malt on the way out. Nice IPA smell, very smooth but not too strong on the hops. As far as IPA,s go I couldnít ask for much better even though its lighter than you may expect. I think as far as it goes it did what it set out to do. I could see myself drinking a 6 pack of these pretty happily.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled December 4, 2013.
Appearance: The body is a perfectly clear golden-amber, accompanied by a billowing fluffy and persistent white head. Truly a beautiful beer.
Aroma: The aroma is mild in strength, but with good cohesion. Lots of floral perfume like aromas with a matching grapefruit and mildly spicy and piney aroma. Very nicely balanced showing off the hops.
Taste: This is a wonderfully balanced IPA with a skew towards a grapefruit and floral bitterness that has prominent spice from the hops. Thereís a touch of caramel and toasted malts, but the hops are very prominent, especially at their peak during the finish. The finish comes off very floral and dry, lingering a moment or two of bitterness and perfume.
Palate: Full-bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is a perfect IPA for the hop profile. I can find no flaws in this from a technicality stand-point. I donít love the hop profile though, I prefer something more tropical like their Double Jack. This is a very logical progression from the standard pale ale and something to be admired in its quality.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2013 Appearance - deep orange
Aroma - nice. Clean grass. Grapefruit
Taste - smooth. Not very strong. Funny bitter. Grapefruit. Not very in your face. Feels like between IPA and pale ale.
Overall - pretty nice.

Bottled November 2013. This is a very good IPA. I prefer them more piney, but this is still a wonderfully drinkable bottle.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours clear golden orange with a dense white head with decent retention and moderate lacing. aroma is big grapefruit with subtle tropical fruit and sweet malt. flavor is big for a single IPA, mostly half-hour and pine bitterness with almost no balance, but itís done well... bitterness dominates the palate a bit too much though. Still, a very good beer.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This may be my favorite IPA yet!
appearance is a crystal clear yellowish gold color. one finger of white head, dissipates moderately. Aroma is AMAZING! lots and lots of citrus, i get pineapple, grapefruit, candied tropical fruit, pine notes, and a balance of light caramel malts. the tastes is very similar to the aroma, citrus & tropical bomb!! pineapple, grapefruit, pine, spruce, light caramel malt, and a hint of alcohol. the finish has a slight citrus and pine flavor that lingers. overall, this is an exceptional west coast style IPA that i will seek out and buy!

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Damn good - Biscuit malt dominant but not heavy - balanced with superb herbal hops - alcohol invisible - although recognisably English, the West Coast stamp of hops lifts this way stratospherically above English best bitter.

Highly visibly carbonated gold to orange color with a dense white head. Fruity aroma strawberry passion fruit some orange zest a bit of sweet sugar on grapefruit comes through a lift caramel. Flavor saturates your nostrils and mellows the smell directly when you drink it. Palate coats well finishes creamy. Delicious!

Sweet hoppy aroma. Pours clear copper with a white head. Great balanced flavor, with the hops finishing strong.
