12 oz bottle from the cheese man!!! dark golden/amber pour, nice thick soapy, sticky white head. Aroma is outstanding!!! crazy northwest hops. LOADS of piney hops, and some grapefruit, and lemon, with some earthy malt in the backdrop. Flavour is super hoppy, , with loads of pine......this IPA is big on the piney resin hops, but the citrus iis there. wicked IPA!!!!

4 oz pour at the Oregon Brewers Festival in July ’09. Very hoppy and almost spicy. One of the best IPAs at the festival. Great balance!

tried this beer directly from the tap. beautiful hop and malt balance for an IPA, intense hop and citrus aromas. nice bitterness and finishes very clean. Looking forward to trying this with a spicy Thai dish!!! about 8%--Great job.

Aromas of flowers, pine, citrus, and dank bud. Appearance: Pours a golden amber with a decent fluffy head. Flavors of bitter, citrusy, floral hops, nice malt sweetness, and it finishes clean, not too bitter or astringent. Not overly thick, nice full body. One of the best IPAs made in the world.

Bottle thanks to RiversideAK. Damn. The aroma alone is fantastic. Grapefruit, oranges, maybe some peach. Flavor is wonderful of obvious Simcoe, bringing out the apricot and peach flavor, withe Centennial and Cascade bringing up the pine and bit of flowery goodness with the orange flavor. Lots of bitter to this. This has to rank as one of my new favorite go to beers. What sucks is I cant get it here..

Bottle, huge thanks to bitbucket, he’s the man! Pours medium amber, with a thick fluffy head with great lacing. Nose is fantastic, perfumed, spicy, citrus sprucey hops, delicate balance. Not as overtly hoppy as some IIPAs, but wonderfully balanced and complex. Flavors of grapefruit, flesh and rind, spruce tips, fresh pine character as opposed to resiny. Mild perfume and spice, especially in the finish, palate is malty and high quality, but serves as a foundation for the hops rather than trying to steal the show. Exactly how I like my IPAs.

12 oz bottle Aroma- nice earthy smell with citrus hoppiness. malty caramel nose as well. Appearance- golden-orange, lingering off white head. minimal chill haze present. Taste- balanced taste up front of caramel malts and earthy hop flavors. Hops kick in, offer a bright, citrusy quality. Grapefruit bitterness comes through in the finish. bitter, lingering aftertaste not too strong. warming as well. Palate- medium bodied. slight slickness. light carbonation. Complex yet balanced and very drinkable.
