UPDATED: NOV 19, 2012 Excellent IPA. Pours a hazy, golden yellow, with large, frothy head. Strong citrus/hop aroma. Flavor an intense combination of citrus and strong hoppy bitterness. Nice malty undercurrent. Very satisfying beer.

A wonderful west coast IPA. On draft at Comet ping pong(DC). Dark amber with small white head. Nice lacing. Paired with the Yalie pizza, excellent. Not as good as Double Jack, but "it'll do". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Has super hoppy smell and flavor in the beginning. After that it very slowely degrades into this bitter aftertaste and leaves a happy feeling in my mouth and soul. Knowing we are in California almost next to the source on a grad night...

January 2012. 22 oz. bottle. Another one of the great West Coast IPA’s out there that is widely available. Awesome IPA all the way.

[US West Coast Trip 2013] Aroman är fantastisk ! Humle, fruktighet, grapefrukt, underbar ! Smaken är verkligen inte sämre, faktiskt bättre. Den fylliga, fruktiga, färska och beska smaken är väl balanserad!

Bottle. Pours a clear copperish color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose is quite hoppy, with a lot of citrus in there, yet stays very light and clean. Taste is only slightly bitter, but has a nice balance to it. Feels slightly sticky, yet remains quite light. Very drinkable IPA.

Hazy yellow with thick off white head that laces nicely as it goes. Aroma is light piney and a bit fruity. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin and a bit watery. Taste is piney citrus with a good malty back bone that turns bitter quickly. Nice lingering bitterness on the aftertaste. Overall a very well balanced IPA.

Looking at some of these ratings makes me think these are rival breweries ! This is always a safe bet and a great representation of a west coast ipa. You could never go wrong with this sure shot at 3 months old or less. Any ratings below 4 should stick to lagers, enjoyvur coors lights !

Pale amber/orange with thin beige head; hoppy and sweet aroma; Flava is distinctly hoppy; feels thick and foamy; finishes dry and toasty malty notes with def hop spice;

Subtle orange hue hints at malt. Hops are huge and lovely but fade to bitter quickly.
